This year seems highly likely.
This game has made some pretty impressive progress in the last few months. Hit detection fixes, Equipment spam fixes.
1.8 Is seeming like an amazing patch. Especially for heavies/Scouts
Minmatar Assault.
Hopeful Caldari Scout soon. praying for that respec.

That's what I'm thinking. While I don't have my hopes high about it, it is interesting to note that all racial dropsuits are coming out. That racial weapons are getting their spread on the table as well.
I concur, 1.8 seems to be huge. After it drops, I really can't imagine CCP, as far as releasing content, go anywhere else but to PVE.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but after 1.8, wouldn't that mean that gameplay mechanics, interface and such will be all that's left to get down and dirty on? So if that's the case, I don't see why PVE couldn't make a appearance sometime later this year.
When they drop that post about PVE though. Like generating machine will be beastly

Last anyone in CPM commented about it, it didn't seem like this year would be possible, but I think that was before CCP Rouge so who knows. Anyone that does can't talk about it, but I really think it would fix some of our problems especially with gaining and retaining new players.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

The original plan was for Winter 2012, so it'll probably be ready when I pre-order my PS5 and Dust is ready to start PS4 development.
