Hey, developers! Where are trophies in this game? It is only game I have seen, that Sony allowed to not have trophy system. =( This game is played not for trophies, I understand, but they would be nice addition and source of satisfaction for some players like me. At least, all other online shooters have them, why Dust do not? |

Trophies are nice to have... but it's not priority. I would rather see CCP spend much of their resources finishing up the core content first before moving onto more trivial features.
OK, CCP. When are knives finally going to be improved?

I agree that we should have trophies, and that the core gameplay we're missing needs to be a higher priority.
And yet...
Even though the game has a long way to go, implementing trophies now would help with new player retention, and it would give veterans reasons to keep playing, in the absence of a player-driven market, PvE, or functional PC.
Also, judging by other games trophies seem to be fairly easy to modify and add to, so the trophies could grow and evolve as CCP adds to the game.
I need a break from Dust! I'll just go hop on the forums...

The only trophies added to this game should be user created ones. I would hate to see stupid PSN trophies being integrated into the game. They do nothing to further team play or deepen immersion in the gaming experience, but instead serve to cheapen it.

It wouldn't matter at all if it's part of the 5-10 year development plan. Put it this way, the secondary market is likely to come first way before trophies and we all know how long the market is going to take to expand that much and merge with Eve Online.

Lust of trophies:
1. Combat Cravings: Get 1000 kills with the Combat Rifle
2. Rail Reaming: Get 1000 kills with the Rail Rifle
3. Tip your Waitress: Spend Aurum on Dust 514
4. Badass Wall of Guns: Get all weapons to level 5 Proficiency ( Platinum)
5. Not that Fat Fool: Make a Heavy melee a Scout
7. Ninja: Get 20 kills with any Nova Knife and never die
8. Capped Again!: Cap out every week for 6 months
9. Welcome to the War: Win your first battle
10. Warbarge Wipeout: Kill 10 people or 500 points worth of people and equipment in a Warbage Strike
11. Got em!: Blow up a tank with an Ion Cannon
12. I got you: Give out ten million ISK worth of donations to otger players

13. No more?: Clone an enemy as a team
14. Outstanding Citizen: Reach level 10 standings in your Faction
15. I heal bones, not crack skulls: Be a logi without a gun for a whole match and get over 2000 Warpoints
16. Objection!: Post on the Dust 514 Forums
17. What are you doing?: Survive a Forge Gun direct hit
18. Shivers: Win a match by 1 clone
19. Gotcha Man: Stay within twenty meters of another Green berry for at 3/4 the match
20. Ladies first: Allow a lady character to attack a group of hostiles first
21. Oh hell no: Survive a Warbargw strike called on yop of you
22. Wrath of Khan: Call in a Special Orbital from an Eve Pilot
