1. Your suit can carry it to. Like most do anyway carry what you need most. Do not rely on someone else. - Logi CPU/PG allow noobs and baddies to fit what ever they want without having to understand much about proper fitting.
2. No logi suits in my squad. Get together with 3-6 others and plan it out. Assault carry Nano, Scout carry spawn point. Each carry a needed piece of equipment for the group. You will eliminate the need for a logi and increase the over all armor/shields and damage your squad can put out.
3. It is rare to be nano injected without dieing instantly because they are going for the 60sp and sometimes even suicide to do it. If you are injected its always the noob injector and they armor rep for more sp or leave you half dead.
4. Remove the logi and share equipment drops = WAY more isk and WP for you because the logi did not suck them all up by farming spawn points.
5. They just think they are some kind gift to the battle field. Like we could not all do it LOL. They defend there place as toping the charts with 1-5. Meanwhile the skilled players role there eyes.
Good teamwork eliminates the need and role of LOGI. Share it out and bring more punch to the battle. Having a secondary job on the battlefield did not hurt any soldier. It promotes teamwork and helps keep the team together. |

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
What should others carry in there equipment slot then? 2 logi means you just lost 1/3 of your over all stopping power.
A Assault with long range weapons can carry reps and follow heavies for greater effect. Skill is key unlike the other option.
I can tell a lot of people here don't play PC lol - they have not seen skilled players it seems. |

Make my entire squad run a certain type of equipment, or field a Logistics user. Whichever shall I pick?
Also, where does the heavy fall within your statement?
Does your squad want more isk, WP shared? Does your squad want to compromise a team player for something you can all do?
What else will your squad carry for equipment. Most likely they already drop a lot of the same things your logi wasted squad spot does. They just need teamwork and leadership to work those together.
I understand. It is not easy - it requires skill - Why are all the logi players running away... On skill and not easy scared them out LOL |

Funny why do they go negative kdr topping the charts... If they have a weapon why do they suck at using it? |

Rusty Shallows wrote:Hear that Devs? It is time to consider monkeying with certain kinds of Equipment so that non-Logis can't fit anything better advance with stretching. Increase the base fitting requirements of most equipment along with the Logi Class bonus. Let's see a Slayer give up a complex gank or tank module in exchange for Stable Uplinks or K2 Hives. Just kidding.... ... or am I?
Honestly please slayers try it. Want/need more isk - or want to be the top of the charts. Do that - Switch to an uplink and watch the points roll in passively as you slay away. You will get a lot more out if it then blowing up a tank.
P.S poster - you should have a dedicated AV fit not half-assing a equipment slot with something that will not pop a tank or will require you to risk a suit to deploy. A passive drop allows you to stay undercover doing what you do best well collecting easy points.
Nano hives also! |

Good logistics support their team through firepower as well. I've seen plenty of crappy assaults too. I was going to say your squad tactics had some merits but you seem to have such disdain for anybody that isn't a pure assault I'm not going to bother.
Naa I know there are changes coming that will fix these issues. |

This will make me happy. Add some skill requirements on passive drop equipment! I fully respect active logi equipment. But that role can be done by others (is m point above). |

Maybe they're too busy actually Repping, reviving, dropping Uplinks/Hives, Scanning, and cover-firing getting Assist Kills to actually care about KDR?
So we loss the Ambush and you top the charts with 1-10 and feel like a hero. |

But that role can be done by others (is m point above). Yes it can but should it be attempted? Well, that's a choice made by the individual. With the new changes upcoming, logibros are going to logi. Something that has been done before but the multitude of people who become logi solely for WP gain will phase out. Or at least thats what I think they are aiming for.
1 skilled scout or assault can drop 1 uplink very strategically. I mostly see logi farming drop equipment. I give props to active equipment - there is some risk and skill involved. But the logi class is full of skill-less noobs and drop farmers. I hope the new changes scare off the unskilled logi types or makes there job redundant. |

You don't see this is because baddies and players with no skill play logi because its easy and makes them feel uber. That is why it needs fixing.
I know some skilled logi but they are few and far between. |

Logis are still Force multipliers. 2 Logis and a Heavy will easily top a good squad while reviving teammates, providing ammo and faster respawns into battle...
THIS,is the true job of a logistics suit. LOGISTICS. Force multipliers....
Got it?[/quote]
This requires the same amount of skill as the above idea. But if you lose the heavy your screwed and have to completely reorganise. A group like I have mentioned above cover the bases and spreads out the equipment and damage.
Focus kill the repper and your 2 logi and 1 heavy group is complete fail. |

Pro Tip: Each member of your elite squad can make a copy suit with different equipment. Work a Supply Depot - drop your equipment and switch to your combat suits. I absolutely love running in squads like this. Assaults should ALWAYS be able to cover the role of a logi in a full assault squad. My alt is an Assault and I have two proto equipment I'll switch between to make up for whatever the other assault/logis aren't carrying. That equipment slot is there for a reason, I wish more assaults would use it. Although I absolutely disagree with the statement of removing Logistic suits, as my main is a logi and is my favorite class to play. If these "skilled players" you speak of aren't at the top of the leader board they aren't very "skilled" now are they?
110% agree
