I didn't take note of the corps, but i did see I was second with 50 WP, first was someone with 150WP. The enemy first had 1900WP, second had like 1025. The enemy team filled the team vehicle quota with assault dropships and proto tanks, and the infantry that killed me all used proto. Not a single militia, standard or advanced. For the people who do pubstomp however you do, please justify it. Doesn't have to my personal case, but please justify it in a more meaningful way than basically 'get good'.

That its OK to steam roll your enemies and knowing its not fair as you obviously have better equipment than them, almost completely removing skill from the agenda of which team will win... If that makes sense...

I'd say you get a decent game of ambush 1 out of 30 games. I played about 15 back to back earlier and not one wasn't a full squad of proto and 3-4 tanks vs a team of NPC corps and idiots who thought they might get a quick game and have some fun in. That said, there are some corps out there who only protostomp because it makes them feel better about themselves or something. I would advise you avoid ambush, but if you do play it, check who is on the other side. If it is a known proto stomping corp like Nyain I suggest you leave battle right away. The only mechanism we as a player base have to curb this behavior (slightly) is to shun those that engage in it. In general it is the human tendency to not give a crap about anyone other than oneself that causes the protostomp.

If that makes sense... Explosive damage works wonders when removing prototype suits from the field. They don't seem to like being non-revivable. But the difference isn't just gear. Matchmaking is laughably broken, but we are generally talking about organized groups against randoms. When that happens, you could have swapped gear with the enemies, and the outcome would have been the same... vehicles are still suffering from the last adjustment, and will not likely be near invincible for long.

I'm not sure why someone would log in to an FPS and complain about "fairness". There's no such thing.

When I pubstomp, personally I get very bored if the other side isn't using prototype gear, and revert to standard/free gear once I die. I'll admit that sometimes, it's very fun stomping newbies into the ground but I reason to myself that if I make it too easy, my skills are just going to get blunt and I'll be fighting in PC like an idiot. Hence if I learn to live in militia gear against prototype players, then when I equip prototype gear when it matters, I'll be more powerful for it. "When nothing is going your way, go out of your way to do nothing."
