Get a rail rifle and any suit you like. The best suit would be any suit with 3+ highs, then spec into level 5 weaponry and equip 3 complex light damage modifiers.
You are now a slayer.

Put 3 comp damage mods on a proto suit with a CB or RR as a weapon, find a red dot and press R1. really simple slayer is the easiest role in the game. Might make some try hards mad that i say that but it is the truth.

Any suit or role can be a slayer. I think that's good.
It basically comes down to your dropsuit fitting. How you fit it determines whether or not it'll be good for slaying. Generally you want decent hp along with good dmg. And usually a rifle of choice. Because rifles are OP as ****.
But other factors come into play as well. There's positioning, flanking, map awareness, and then just general gungame. (How well you can out strafe your opponent and continue to land shots)

I just tried the slayer the other day, I used a scrambler and a rail rifle with 3 complex damage mods, its total easy mode even if they shoot first I can still kill them, its amazing how many people have horrible aim in this game, they fire whole clips at me and miss
another slayer tip, carry the wallhack, the active scanner, you can see throurh walls, you can even see what direction they are facing, It negates every tactic, its total easy mode |

that is not what i said at all, nice failed attemp at a strawman argument
My point is that ccp should not cater to bad players, good players should excel, players who cant aim should take on other roles, like piloting or suport logi.
When I am fighting someone toe to toe the person with greater skill and better tactics should win.
but no ccp gives out aimbots and wallhacks this used to be considered cheating, now they are in gmae features |

Marksman (For lack of a better name; worries about killing specific annoying targets)

As far as I know rifles aren't getting a rework in 1.8. Some damage proficiencies are rumored to be being reviewed by the devs with possible weapon upgrade overhauls. But none of that was said to be slated for 1.8. Just something that was being looked at (like everything else).

I mostly use my GEK. Its the sweetspot' rifle without being EZmode. I want to be a slayer without EZmoding.

the smg and duvolle is a great combo for people who can't aim you can hipfire 140 bullets before you need to reload, with this and aim assist you can be a horrible player and still get kills |

I hear ya about the scanner. I started carrying one all the time because I got tired of people in my team and squad not ever having one for a long time while almost everyone we went up against did. It does make it quite easy.

Oh, and in answer to the OP: Take one fatsuit, add on a damage mod or two, some extra armor and a RR. Then sit inside of a building, or on a roof and kill people (through ADS if on roof, or through a spray and pray method in a building as the AA will easily take care of that in CQC with RR) until either enough people throw grenades to get rid of you, or someone finally manages to come in from another direction and take you out from behind.
