Also Beers you shouldn't care the game's dead as you've stated +1k times, anyways PFC's dead already RA's enforcement, however noble is not working... NF is probably the only group who could do a proper job but NF is not that active in DUST... PC is broke PFC only really works if the enforcers can/will enforce RA can't v NF, NF just won't...

PFC does need to go, mainly because the people who would've actively policed it get nothing but hate from the community in general. A prime example I've actually been a part of is the one concerning Subsonic Synthesics and Subdreddit. What really ticked me off about the incident was I was actually supporting Subsonic and tried to convince mike to let it slide. He didn't however, and nowadays, all I've seen Subsonic do is whine and complain about Pradox, when we were just trying to do our jobs.
Then you have the fine people who say they would police it, but do absolutely nothing. Honestly, AE is the only example I can think of.

Bottom line, if you're not satisfied with how people are trying to keep PFC running, try doing yourself. You'll hate it as much as we do.
Phew, boy I went on a rant, I feel old now. PFC only worked when all the big players supported it. The fear of being smashed by any of them is what allowed PFC to work. Now the idea of actually having to smash people. This is what Soraya and many otheres just dont understand when it comes to how this community ACTUALLY works.
You do understand that if you said it like Derrith nobody would have bitched... how you said it was... confrontational. PFC can work as it has but killing PFC would force CCP to bring CB's or NF could police PFC or even just be the hand and let another party doing investigations... as some of us use our PFC districts
Regarding Soraya I feel the need to defend him here as he's a corpmate... He's done thing's to help... he's not nessecarily the face of operations but then again he doesn't sit in IRC bitching all day... he's ran an alliance, he's made the first district tracker http://www.dust-gents.com/districts.php, he's helped with thunderdome. You've ran IE which... no longer exists. you propose killing your other creation (even though It could be fixed instead).
Overall I'd rather see CB's return but PFC CAN be fixed it requires work... both fighting men and law men. Hell get DDB to investigate and NF to enforce... but... that won't happen or NF could not hire out on PFC (Wouldn't be good PR Imps helping the community because good players couldn't be good businessmen) and locked districts could be removed from PFCwhen unlocked

I personally always wanted to see it succeed but it is a head ache for any corp that wants to run it. true, however there are ways around everything, district locking is not an infallible mechanic

the plain and simple bottom line, which is ultimately the answer to everything in this game from the viewpoint of a mercenary:
Is it profitable?
district locking isn't because people are scared to lose their land. Its because it increases their wallets.
Policing Oddeluf in and of itself is not profitable, and many people often require prescription medication to relieve the headaches that come with it.

Get two or three of the rare talent members from each of the Indie corps who are on PFC. Give them a cargo hub either on PFC or Bosena. These members would still be able to fight for their previous corp, in fact, it would be best. What this will do in my eyes is if their corp is caught breaking the rules and there are two "officers" on both sides, there would be two witnesses to the rulebreaking, then the punishment of removing the corp from PFC would commence by sending clones from above cargo hub. And on the payment, we all know that no one wants to do this without some sort of monetary compensation. So my idea is for certain people in this corp will scout out corporations, see if they can field full to almost full consistently, and the people on PFC will take 10% out of their profits and send it to the corp. I know it sounds like extortion, and it is, but in all honesty, I would never police again if there wasn't something in it for me. Your signature ^ Pretty cool huh?
