So sometime in last march we decided to have a planet fight club. The intention was for big corps to have training of their newer member. This was because the grudge match style we used at the time was going away. Fast forward to PC time and once the initial rush was over we looked at PFC for different purpose. Letting newer or smaller corps into PC world. Back then you have a few power blocks that just removed the little guy first. So we changed the purpose of PFC to let small or new corps get their feet wet along with training corps for the big boys.
That said, 6 months later there just isn't a point anymore.
PFC is last year, shut up and go play pubs if you cant hold a district. There just isn't room for renters in dust anymore. So as the saying goes "Get Good or Hire Mercs Who Are"

PFC worked to start because we had all the big players support. None of them care now. There is no point in trying to police this when no one wants too. You are quick to dispense your opinion when you have no practical knowledge of what it takes to make it actually happen.

You still haven't shown what you have done for the community. All I know of you is you bought a planet in PC and lost it just as fast. You have nothing to offer the community as proof to your honest attempt to improve the game other that some bullshit platform.
Everyone can see you dont answer the question you just try to deflect. This isn't going away you cant just run and hide from having no dust cv.

PFC does need to go, mainly because the people who would've actively policed it get nothing but hate from the community in general. A prime example I've actually been a part of is the one concerning Subsonic Synthesics and Subdreddit. What really ticked me off about the incident was I was actually supporting Subsonic and tried to convince mike to let it slide. Then you have the fine people who say they would police it, but do absolutely nothing. Honestly, AE is the only example I can think of.

Bottom line, if you're not satisfied with how people are trying to keep PFC running, try doing yourself. You'll hate it as much as we do.

PFC only worked when all the big players supported it. The fear of being smashed by any of them is what allowed PFC to work. Now the idea of actually having to smash people.
This is what Soraya and many otheres just dont understand when it comes to how this community ACTUALLY works.

So the real answer is depends. The political nature of the PC world right now isn't good for new corps at all. Honestly, in my heart i would hope that ccp would give corp contracts and team deploy for FW as soon as possible. I really think its a better way to go in the short term. I think it would help the newer and less exp players and corps would do better in fw.
As for your ambitions of PC life I would find political buddies first and dont put your timer at a stupid time incase you need to hire mercs. Best of luck

You do understand that if you said it like Derrith nobody would have bitched... how you said it was... confrontational. PFC can work as it has but killing PFC would force CCP to bring CB's or NF could police PFC or even just be the hand and let another party doing investigations... as some of us use our PFC districts Regarding Soraya I feel the need to defend him here as he's a corpmate... He's done thing's to help... he's not nessecarily the face of operations but then again he doesn't sit in IRC bitching all day... he's ran an alliance, he's made the first district tracker http://www.dust-gents.com/districts.php, he's helped with thunderdome. You've ran IE which... no longer exists. you propose killing your other creation (even though It could be fixed instead). Overall I'd rather see CB's return but PFC CAN be fixed it requires work... both fighting men and law men. Hell get DDB to investigate and NF to enforce... but... that won't happen or NF could not hire out on PFC (Wouldn't be good PR  Imps helping the community because good players couldn't be good businessmen ) and locked districts could be removed from PFCwhen unlocked

That said, no one wants to police PFC. Why dont you offer to do it. If people break your rules you remove them. Why the **** do you think its someone else responsibility? It's all on you Ill even publicly back you. How about it?
