Why bother advertising 5x exp when your going to give normal exp...The ceiling is correct but the exp gain per war point is the same...Im getting the same 6k per match that i always get. So why say that we are getting 5 times exp until the 29th...I got my entire corp on for the event and were sitting here going "They lied to us again :/"

5x war point gain is mathematically closer to just double the sp we normally get in a game.
so if that was an ambush without a booster it seems about right. |

If this is the case I will withdraw my statment and thank you for the info. its also 6k without a booster. I cant afford them and eve x.x

I will also state that the bonus directly correlates with your wp's gained in a match, so if you have 0wp you gain no bonus.
but each kill is effectively 250 sp. |

I cant wait to get on tonight!
I ran 1 Ambush match this morning before coming to work 2 kills no death . Just dropped drop links made around 7,000 SP

Yup, as calisk says, it is based on your WP gain, not on generic SP gain. There are two kinds of SP you get during a battle: Active SP, which is a straight WP-SP conversion (1-1 I think?); and Passive SP (or more, Passive Battle SP) which is a set amount of SP per second/minute/timeframe that you spend in a battle.
So, let's say it's 1 SP/second for Passive, you spend 5 minutes in a battle and earn 1000 WP you would get:
Normally: 1000 SP for your WP plus 1 SP x 300 (60 x 5) for a total of 1300 SP
SP Event: 5000 SP for your WP plus 1 SP x 300 (60 x 5) for a total of 5300 SP. |
