I'd take my SP from Calogi, Galogi, Min Assault, Ammarr Assault and max out Amarr Logi, Min Logi, and Min Scout.
Let's not be dramatic. I already have all equipment maxed, all HP skills maxed, the only fitting stuff not maxed is Dropsuit Upgrades (L4), Light Weapon Operation (L4), and the weapon fitting optimization skills are only at L2.
It's not the 30 million SP people that the brand new players would have to watch out for. It's the guys a 15 million SP that have their SP all over the place. Overall the matches would be much more fun with more players specialized.
But a 30 million SP player getting a respec isn't going to change him/her much. Let's go ahead and put this myth to bed.

Not everybody goes full blown Dust crackhead right away. Some people would rather walk away if their only weapons are plasma cannon and swarm launcher than grind to correct their error. I'd like to see that happen every few releases.
I really don't see FOTM as much of an issue anymore with all the variety soon to be here. There's some incentive now to favor a particular faction and their gear. I think that's another relevant call for a skill respec.
The game has missed some big chunks of content leading up to 1.8. I think a skill RESPEC of some fashion is warranted.

This has to be the worst anti-respec post of all time. "I'm too lasy to go check what boosts CPU so I'd rather just deal with my wasted SP"
