So...
How do the active boosters work with this event?
I know 1 day booster doesn't normally increase the cap at all so it won't affect SP-event either. (?)
But what about the week/30-day boosters? Do they increase the cap in this event?

Any of the active boosters will effect the event. The booster gives you 50% more WP from battle. Since during the event you are already getting x5 WP then the booster will just add awesome sauce all over that. The booster has nothing to do with the cap really. Only passive and active sp gains. In this case active. ACTIVE. 
I spent half my ISK on gambling, alcohol and wild women. The other half I wasted.

They do not alter your cap as they give you a bonus so to speak.
If you have a booster live this just awards additional SP.

Boosters don't affect the cap, but I've been told that the cap is tripled for the week and XP gains from WP are quintupled.

So you'll get 4.5x active SP assuming you're fully boosted until you hit cap.
Omega would be 6x.
I'm looking at about 800k Active SP for this week. That'll let me skill some nice things.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

Oh right, the active booster gives you BONUS SP which doesn't affect the cap at all, right?
Now I seem to remember CCP explaining that times ago.
