So with all the changes to the equipment and dropsuits that are looking like they are going to happen, do you think that we will get an asset reset?

There *may* be some form of SP respec, there's speculation but no official word as far as I know.
There almost certainly won't be a reset of sp, isk/aurum or items. I'm sure that CCP know that would drive away enough of the players that Dust would effetively die.
When I play as a sniper, I'm more likely to be nearer to the opponents redline than my own.

It's an interesting question, although they would be refunded rather than reset.
If we get a dropsuit respec, many of us would be left with a stockpile of suits that we not only don't use, but which are different from the suits we originally bought.
There's an argument to be made for it. But personally I think it's highly unlikely. Especially since very few people stock items to last much further than a handful of matches.

I hope not because if any equipment is removed and I have it, it will be a gold mine when the player market is out. My only regret is not buying any jovian fusion powerplants.

I was wondering this as well, do you guys think we will get a refund of isk for our current infantry items (not including officer weapons, those stay!) Similar to the 1.7 vehicle refund? |

Not quite the same things; after all, only removed things were refunded for vehicles.
A better example would be the Uprising one, where everything was refunded because the skill tree totally changed.

So now there is going to be some new stats on suits... Ive wasted so much Skill points on them.
Now with this new 1.8 CCP is changing the stats on each suit.
Not satisfied.. We should get at least Skill point respec on drop suits only and nothing else. |
