yeah, I bought this also and haven't received anything yet. I didn't want to submit a help ticket just yet in case it will pop up later.
Really weak stuff in it, but I hope the fitting has a cool color scheme. Really, I only bought it because I haven't bought anything from CCP and I really want to support this game. Really miss the BPO's though.
on two side notes, as crappy as a non BPO pack is, if they continue to be this cheap, it might not be a bad idea to continue making them. Granted, they're not great, but a dollar here or there for an sp booster plus some items and aurum seems fair. Hopefully we'll start seeing more 99 cent packs.
and finally, I also got the FFXIII Lightning returns demo. Can't wait! Lightning is so awesome.

It's worth it just for the booster, especially if you don't have one with the 3x week coming. Buy 3 and get another with the Aurum for a total of four weeks worth of 1.5x cap. That's about 1,000,000 SP for $10. With all of the upcoming changes, it could really be worth it.
The Aurum items kinda suck, but if you use them wisely they can save/make you a lot of ISK or hold them for the trade market and cash them in for more boosters.

it may be a little weak compared to former starter and merc pack, but it's still a STARTER pack, new player can try all the riffle variation and they got booster, not as bad as the dev dropsuit pack or stupid bundle with 200 worthles standard side arms imho

Yeah, the packs are such terrible value now - you get a multitude of expendable items that serve no purpose to anyone skilled to use them .... no more BPO's, which is understandable, but the Aurum and boosters they gave out pale in comparison to what the merc packs used to give out. They need to throw in factional boosters and longer term boosters with more aurum - but then the aurum has less value now due to the aforementioned disappearance of BPO's... they need to rejuvenate the aurum marketplace somehow. |
