DUST Search - Not enough zap, too much yellow shots, too much LAME!

So much yellow! Can't we have scrambler pistols and rifles fire violet , blue, or even red to add some variety? I want Dust to look as vibrant and interesting as this fanart. It seems unlikely that the Amarr would have their weapons fire the same color as the Gallente since they're enemies, and it could cause confusion and friendly fire; and laser weapons can fire any color they're calibrated to. Violet or blue would work well with the gold of the weapon; quite a stylish color combo. EVE players can get freakin rainbow lasers for f's sake.

An electrolaser is basically using a laser to ionize the air to make it electrically conductive, and then fires electricity to zap targets through the ionized path. So yeah, scrambler weapons SHOULD look electrical (and preferably a different color).

I also noticed a bug that makes a fully charge scrambler rifle shot look just like a regular uncharged shot, LAME!

Now, to the assault rifle. It shoots freakin plasma, and it should look as such. It used to look wispy and cool (pic), (another pic) but now it just shoots boring straight beams of dullness; LAME!

Stop making things so damn boring and homogenized!

In a game like this I'd expect to see all different colored lasers flying around, glowing plasma, tracers, you name it, yet everything is practically the same color. Lightning is generally white-blue (though could be other colors depending on how its produced), so I think blue would fit well with scrambler rifles, but having both blue and yellow stuff would look pretty silly; doesn't match. I might be the only one that remembers this, but back in Chromosome and IIRC, EARLY Uprising (like 1.0-1.1 if even that), if you shot an AR round into a wall, there would be sort of a burn effect. It's hard to describe, and I can't find a picture/video of it, but I hope I'm not the only one that used to fire Shotgun blasts into a wall just to see that effect. The bolts are moving tremendously fast though, all you would see is a streak or beam. Blaster-like weapons have much higher muzzle velocities than rail weapons, but the bolt is only coherent for a tiny fraction of a second, which is why its range suffers so much. Playing since 1st batch of closed beta keys.
