The new Amarr assault bonus will be trash tbh. The suit (and the race to a lesser extent) loses its identity and its uniqueness, not to mention its viability on the battlefield.

You indirectly said it. Just look at your statement above. And I quote..."the current bonus is a waste unless you use a SCR or LR and the LR hasn't been used regularly since the great laser light wars of the fish bowl". You initially indicated a preference to the ASCR, correct? Now, if you take into consideration which laser weapons fall into the Amarr category, it is the ScR, AScR and LR, correct? Remove the ScR and LR (as stated above) and which gun is left? That's right...the AScR. You didn't have to directly say it. Your statement said it for you, albeit indirectly.
I read into everything. Yours was fairly easy to do.

Obvious statement is obvious. My opinion on it is that I think your opinion on it is flawed. It remains my opinion nonetheless.
Now, had you made your intentions crystal clear from the beginning, I may be inclined to defer to your opinion. But...you did not and only changed it now. That makes your counter argument irrelevent.
