I do remember stating many times that V vs. AV was broken, but the simple answer was to buff vehicles as opposed to an AV weapon nerf. Most ideas presented by tankers however, were very bad; and they should have felt bad for creating them. (Hence why we are in this situation.Your tunnelvision needs a wider scope.
The moment any pilot talks about double standards is the moment their statement itself becomes a double standard by extension.
Even if, I highly doubt that people are calling for an HAV nerf because of AV. I could almost guarantee that if MLT vehicles weren't as good as their elitist PRO fitted vehicles, and if people used lolAV instead of Railguns, then there would be no "nerf vehicles" opinion from the pilot community.
Not that their opinion actually matters much. CCP has proven time and time again that they will listen to the loudest voices no matter how idiotic, biased, or just plain uneducated said voice is in general. I could probably make a nerf Overdrive Units campaign an have them nerfed if enough people started chanting with me.
Don't act so high and mighty when you did almost nothing but moan about AV in the least constructive ways possible while encouraging buffs that makes AV vs V completely one sided. Making blaring logical fallacies everywhere and flat out refusing to provide even the most basic counter-argument beyond the typical "Ur a scrub. Get gud" comment.
Interpret this as you will. Rage and troll if you want. I couldn't really care less.

Apparently, if you aren't a heavy then you shouldn't be allowed to destroy a tank.

I believe you. One time I took out a Gunnlogi with a KLA because my corpmate's LAV boxed him in.
That's just referencing people like The Attorney General who thinks that it should be okay to invest another 15mil SP into maxing out another PRO suit, and maxing out another weapon tree againjust to be slightly effective at countering a niche.
I'd only say pics or it didn't happen if you said you killed an Assault Dropship with a PLC. 
Though I managed to do that once

Well I think I speak for both sides of the coin when I say that we're sick and tired of discussing it.
But if we don't discuss it, things will be left up to CCP.
I think I also speak for both sides of the coin when I say "never leave it up to CCP."
