Heres my problem with the broken system that is scanning:
1. Using a single piece of equipment with a stylish 360 is the equivalent to an Orbital VSAT.
2. The whole Dampener fit argument is flawed. I primarily play PC, and most players run proto scans. There is no way I am ever going to sacrifice two of my highs to be undetected. I would just lose too much shield or tank .
3. To build on point 2., Fitting balance ratio is completely broken. A LoLogi, in order to scan, sacrifices one equipment slot, which has almost no effect on his tank or DPS. On the other hand, to be able to avoid a scan one must sacrifice his tank or DPS. Furthermore, LoLogi's have an abundance of equipment slots making the ratio even worse.
Overall, the scanner and the mechanics assorted with it, our absurd and broken. Hopefully, the scanner is being worked into something that is not a crutch.

 Dampeners are low slot modules.
You sure...
Anyways it makes no difference, because lows are still very important to tanking

Dampeners are low slot modules. You sure... Anyways it makes no difference, because lows are still very important to tanking Yeah, dampeners are Low Slot modules, which makes it difficult for Minmatar Mediums to get under even the ADV Scanner. 
 Well in my MK.0 there is now no way, without seriously ******* my suit, to hide from a proto scanner.
LMFAO how is it balance, when it becomes unfeasible to counter?
