Double hardened gunnlogi can tank two volleys of missiles and be fully restored by the time they reload the third. I'm surprised your extensive experience didn't teach you that.

I'm surprised your extensive experience didn't teach you that. wow, a double hardened gunlogi can tank it yes, but it either has horrible DPS because it has no dmg mod and it is a stalemate and we both withdraw, or it has no shield booster and it WONT regen before i reload and it is a DPS race. I have been in those fights.
I run a damage mod on mine. Missile tanks are easy to pop. They rely solely on the alpha, they die running for the redline.

why would we need ADV and PRO tanks? Basic level tanks are rampant in every game mode. They are devastating and hard for infantry to deal with. Better tanks are the last thing Dust needs.

Better tanks are the last thing Dust needs. yes they are great RIGHT NOW IN PUBS, but 2 shotting STD tanks with a railgun actually makes sense, its only LVL1. ADV tank will get a 4th high/low PRO will get 5th full high/low and extra high/low. sounds very OP but remember these tanks will be crazy expensive, hopefully 8-10 million a pop. only for pc and fw. you wouldn't see most guys calling in suyra's and vayu's in pubs in 1.7 yes? it was too risky.
You miss the point completely. Why waste the man hours designing something that they will have to fix immediately. Basic tanks are too tough for the masses. there is no need to have any other kind of tanks on the field.
