Twice today I found that i committed suicide.
I have no idea what I did so I would like to know how one commits suicide so that I can prevent myself from doing it.
All that I know was that I was crouching, looking through the viewscope of my weapon (L1) and looking around with the right hand lever thing.
What was it there that caused to me to commit suicide? I will accept that I may have my chunky prop-forward fingers over another control by accident as well, but fundamentally, what was I doing to kill myself?

Yeah dunno, because to do it you have to open a menu and click "commit suicide"
so uhh just... try not to do that again lol

I use REs and quite often deploy them and then quick change and zoom.
Only to figure out I didn't quick change and blew myself up. |

Only time I end up with a partial suicide is using the jihad jeep, but I demolish hardened Madrugars in the process.

There are only a few ways to commit suicide that I know of, and from your description, I would post in the feedback/bugs. Usually its done by:
-your own grenade (proximity or you can hold it down to kill yourself in your own hand)
-your own RE (proximity)
-you overheat when you have very little life left and the feedback kills you
-you drop off a high drop when you have little life left
-you're a noob like me and hide behind cover right after letting off a Mass Driver round (kinda the same as grenade) X(
-or you commit suicide yourself through the menu

Ah, thanks. I may have been hugging a live grenade.
L2, I think, drops one off and if my massive lumpen fingers are over L2 as well as L1 then that may be the cause of it.
Another mystery explained. Thanks ever so much, chaps.
