the amarr tried to save us, they offered the empires an alternative to the implant, an end to the voices. the empires suspected treachery though, and the amarr implant was rejected. treachery or otherwise it was worth a shot, an end to all the damn voices, a reprieve from ever encroaching madness. they tried to save us from ourselves, from the sleepers, one and the same. one by one my comrades, my brothers in arms lost their grip on the world and slipped into a dark, dark place. killing the innocent and painting the walls with their blood, could the empress's implant have lead to a worse fate?

my move to the private sector has helped, but I still gaze into the abyss daily and fight my inner monsters, fight it, fight me, which is which I no longer know. there isn't a day that goes by where I don't wonder if the amarr could have saved me, from it, the sleeper.

[if you haven't read the fiction under the media tab of the main page I strongly recommend it. it may help you understand my post... a lot. also I have to give a shout out to pie for promoting amarr loyalty and dispelling some of the rumors surrounding the amarr. incase you didn't pick up on my motives because I suck at creative writing I believe that I owe the amarr empire a debt of gratitude for at least trying to save the mercs from the implant, again read the fiction if you don't know what I'm talking about it's good trust me]
