Despite being different, I do know that they are connected. Lag affects your FPS. If you have strong lag, your FPS drops. The only issue with my joke is that Nyain San likes to make other players lag, not themselves and so it really doesn't have that much of a relevance here other than the connection to lag.

Your corp is known for spamming equipment, which is known to slow down the battle server. It may not be a lag switch, but it does the same thing, and is just as dirty.

Giving the impression it does, does not mean it does. video settings are not affecting FPS rate. It's like turning off color to your tv so that you can see clearer.

Might make you comfortable, but it's really not affecting the other guy from killing you just the same.

Oh, is that why battles are seen as blue dots on a atari, rather then full on ships. so much cool graphics to eve and yet many prefer to play it with the graphics of nes.... all you see are dots.

It should, because your system doesn't have to work as hard to render everything as it does when you're playing in HD. There are only so many system resources that can be used in total so reducing how much is used in one area increases what can be used in others. Whether it's a noticable difference in FPS I don't know.
