This was from the first week of 1.7, shortly after we first discovered that Proto AV no longer worked. Popped quite a few since, but frankly it takes too much time/effort and fails to curb the waves of spam. Like a dog chasing its tail, trying to thin you cowards out. Also I'm getting more in to dropship but it's ok for the rail tank to kill it fast I'm not bitter or angry i just go boom boom revenge. I have noticed tankers tend not bring out there big rigs after someone gives there life to kill the tank. I can't wait for the balance to come back and tanks aren't spamed when that day come I'll park the jeep and walk away.

AV Nades and Swarms are little more than a deterrent at present. You have a good point, and its a d*mn fine reason to restore AV to an effective state.

Sometimes throwing themselves out in the open as a distraction to save their squad is the only way he/she can do that. That's suicide as well. Do you call their actions immature? Should those they benefits not count that as acts of heroism? This is a game. We have luxuries that real soldiers don't have. Keep your BS to yourself. Due to your reply I can see that your a little disgruntled by my post,and obviously cannot understand the comparison I made due to your delinquent response. Where in my post did I say that victims of these horrendous actions would become a martyr for a video game...I did not. I would suggest you go back to school and learn to read and write for that matter. My post was a comparison to events that have shadowed the world we live in and to the way that some people think,be it real or make believe it does'nt change the fact that people who think in this way are a bunch of idiots. Your examples of suicide are totally irrelevant because soldiers who give their lives to save others are not doing it for total annihilation where as true suicide bombers are,there is a big difference between them albeit the end result being the same to both individuals.

I wont go into detail here unless you want me to but seriously even a young child can look at the evidence and realise something was not right that day. Besides comparing a game like DUST to real life is futile. Why would we send mercs to fight when we could launch futuristic tactical super guided nukes or just blast them from orbit? Its meant to be fun. However like I said, I suggest you re-evaluate your stance on 9/11. A hell of a lot of people died that day and it changes the way the world works. If you believe that they could not find the black boxes out of the planes (which are made of super strong metals) yet they could find the supposed terrorists paper passports.... I dont know what to say.

Is it fair that the other team can spam proto gear? Yes. Honourable? No. This is a sandbox FPS, and in this sandbox, players (including myself) have chosen to deal with tanks, the way we want to deal with them. Similar to how pu$$y tankers have chosen how to deal with infantry. If using a jeep laden with bombs is cheap, than spamming tanks is cheaper. At least there is a 50/50 chance of blowing up the jeep, with the tank, you have to hit it at full speed, with no hardeners up because it will do nothing if the hardeners are up. Oh damn right - its a slimy low down dirty tactic. I totally agree. Its still part of the game and I dont want it to be removed. I dont know why he brought up 9/11 when the Japanese were kamikaze / suicide dive bombing back in WW2. I am sure that tactic has been used throughout history. Its crude but effective.
