Having permanently active hardeners lessens the chance of death in case you get slammed by one. They're nearly immune to suicide bombers, but as a trade off, no damage mods. 2. Back up. Backing into a Jihad Jeep while it's running up behind you is almost guaranteed to kill the driver and his Jeep while leaving you alive. If you think you hear a Jeep creeping up behind you just reverse. 3. Shoot the -ing thing. If you see a Jeep flying towards you, suspiciously free of fear, blow the f ucker up. Take no chances. 4. Play something else. There will never come a day when Jihadist Jeeps aren't a threat. If you can't emotionally handle the strain of seeing a cheap piece of equipment blow up your expensive piece of equipment, go play something else. Without counters, tanks are a boring "I win!" button.
calisk galern BurgezzE.T.F Public Disorder. 1637	Posted - 2014.01.20 00:01:00 - [94] - Quote jihad lav's are legit, and tank spam is legit, this is a game where anything is legit. don't care how many tears you cry on either side. tank spam is honestly far worse then jihad lav's for the game and I blame ccp for allowing it, but I really don't blame the players for abusing it. thus why I specced into tanks as a means of fighting tank spam, and I use jihad lav's when I feel like it as well. only newbs run to the forums to fight their battles and cry when their tanks pop.

I wont go into detail here unless you want me to but seriously even a young child can look at the evidence and realise something was not right that day. Besides comparing a game like DUST to real life is futile. Why would we send mercs to fight when we could launch futuristic tactical super guided nukes or just blast them from orbit? Its meant to be fun. However like I said, I suggest you re-evaluate your stance on 9/11. A hell of a lot of people died that day and it changes the way the world works. If you believe that they could not find the black boxes out of the planes (which are made of super strong metals) yet they could find the supposed terrorists paper passports.... I dont know what to say.

Did you seriously just bring 9/11 into this? That's bad man....that's bad... 2. Is it fair that the other team stacks 3x hardeners and can bring in as many tanks as they want? Is it fair that the other team can spam proto gear? Yes. Honourable? No. This is a sandbox FPS, and in this sandbox, players (including myself) have chosen to deal with tanks, the way we want to deal with them. Similar to how pu$$y tankers have chosen how to deal with infantry. If using a jeep laden with bombs is cheap, than spamming tanks is cheaper. At least there is a 50/50 chance of blowing up the jeep, with the tank, you have to hit it at full speed, with no hardeners up because it will do nothing if the hardeners are up. In short your tactic is near pointless as it takes too long to safely set up on the frontline where it is needed, or where it can be safely set up runs a high chance of never being used. Yes I have tried the tactic to varying effects, but most of the tanks who fall prey to it are on the way to the redline, thus being nearly pointless. So to all you jihad jeep users I say this ,the next time you think about doing this,think about it again and try to make yourself a more mature player by not doing it because it's people like you in the real world that cause such hatred . 1. Did you seriously just bring 9/11 into this? That's bad man....that's bad... 2. Is it fair that the other team stacks 3x hardeners and can bring in as many tanks as they want? Is it fair that the other team can spam proto gear? Yes. Honourable? No. This is a sandbox FPS, and in this sandbox, players (including myself) have chosen to deal with tanks, the way we want to deal with them. Similar to how pu$$y tankers have chosen how to deal with infantry. If using a jeep laden with bombs is cheap, than spamming tanks is cheaper. At least there is a 50/50 chance of blowing up the jeep, with the tank, you have to hit it at full speed, with no hardeners up because it will do nothing if the hardeners are up. Oh damn right - its a slimy low down dirty tactic. I totally agree. Its still part of the game and I dont want it to be removed. I dont know why he brought up 9/11 when the Japanese were kamikaze / suicide dive bombing back in WW2. I am sure that tactic has been used throughout history. Its crude but effective.
