You will notice ammo counts and things like overheat cease functionality. It is not just random connection issues either. It will occur when you have a vehicle dead to rights or get the jump on a protosuit. I know I am not the only one who notices, I've messaged people after battle to see if they experienced the same issues. No lag switch is a fallacy, someone out there has figured out a method and they are keeping a tight lid on it. That's server side lag. My squad had a really bad case of it in one match yesterday and everyone was affected at the same time for each lag. Our individual PS3's would animate us assuming that the server would agree, but then we would suddenly rubber band back to the start because the server informed our PS3s that we hadn't moved at all due to it being to laggy to register it.
I'm afraid darken souls is right on this one?! So are you, but server side lag effects the entire match down to the last player. What darken soul is referring to is what I experienced so many times before. LAG SWITCHERS! They can't grasp the concept of the game, and are so frustrated, socially challenged, and lacking in honor that they take their depraved selves to home depot, and buy a light switch smh?! I watch dishonorable tankers do it often. Good tankers I respect even if I am anti armor, but the ones who are down to 30 hp's with 2 volleys in route who skip out from under the missiles as they hit the ground? Lag switch?! And I don't think they realize how obvious it is. I have been swarming, and swarming good, for some time and frankly.... I know when your screwed! Skipping a full 20 meters immediately after being stuck on tale end up on a wall you backed into is b*******!! Realizing the scout with the CRG-3 is directly behind you, and skipping to the other side of a con-x is absolute cheatery! I've made a stand to leave battle when someone does this, and I encourage you all to do the same. Your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. If we stop giving them people to cheat by leaving battle they will eventually loose interest and leave. Let them go fly around Call of Duty maps, and hide in walls there. If you constantly attack a guy who isn't going down, freeze just before dropping a tank who then narrowly escapes, or you can't reload your weapon? Immediately ask your buddies what they are seeing, and if every keeps seeing the tank skip or the same guy glitch? Leave battle! Earn your isk in an honest battle.
