So first we had the deployment system in ambush that would spawn you amongst the enemy. You would last all of .1 seconds. Only long enough to toss a grenade, and pray for a miracle. The fix was "smart deploy"! Where ccp reassures the players that they will spawn near their teammates in the battle. This works great at the beginning of the battle.... but not so much during said battle?! If your team is getting absolutely annihilated, the last place you wanna do is step in the way of the steam roller. Spawning me on an uplink... in a building corner.... being camped by two heavies and a mass driver isn't exactly a "smart" deployment?! Behind my teams or away from my teams currently compromised location is a better idea! There should be a choice to spawn right on top of the melee, and test your grit, or back a bit to sort the situation. Ambush doesn't always mean "screwed"?!
Salvage isn't so random, as I don't know many players that have recieved a lvl 1 assault rifle. Or a lvl 3 laser rifle, lvl 5 plasma cannon, mlt forge gun, and the list goes on. I think I can safely assume that the mercs of dust514 almost never actually get what was on the battlefield?! The guy who kills me with a mass driver, turns around and gets killed by my assault rifle. I don't get his mass driver? Does he recieve my assault rifle? No, he gets a balac's gar-21 he'll almost never use if he likes his mass drivers, and i'll get a EXO-5 mass driver that I won't spec into for months?! How about suits? Only in factional warfare have I ever recieved a dropsuit, or vehicle parts aside from PC. I kill dropsuits and vehicles of all types daily! I should recieve tanks, tank parts, dropsuits and/or mods, and whatever else is left on the battlefield that is considered salvageable. And was actually in that battle. I don't want anymore C27-N specialist sniper rifles! Ever! Not a sniper! Haven't even paid for the book! Salvage should asist in cushioning ones wallet. That's why a merc salvages in the first place! A basic damage mod added to my stock is much more valuable to me than an officers scrambler pistol I refuse to use, can't use because I need that sp for something useful like oh I don't know upgrades, and will never be able to sell because i've given up hope on the market/trade promise?!
Speaking of the market/trade promise! Just throw it at us already ccp! Everything else has been brought in op, glitched, and not so perfect already?! We would gladly deal with a damaged market over no market at all. An option to donate items as well as isk to the corp would be nice. Or the ability to liquidate items for isk! Through your corp, or the market itself players choice. If I could give my Thales, all 20 of them, to my sniper buddy in exchange for his balac's great! Thank you
