I was running in my proto commando, saw a tank, turned and ran.
I jumped down the side of a wall to safety (the tank was pretty far away from me.
But I still died from its turret even though I was safe behind cover.
A 200k isk lag. Bull $#!T

A 200k isk lag. Bull $#!T That could've been me in that tank, as this happened to an enemy Commando recently. I was firing my Blaster, clearly missing, no damage taken, then he went around a corner and spontaneously combusted. Big +60. Fun times.

Actually I think it was you GG....even though it was 8 tanks v 16 nublets I usually kill from as far away with the Blaster as I can to make it easier to escape AV and other tanks. The thing is so accurate at 100m that it's disgusting. I usually run in small squads with little to no (known) tank support and go rails nowadays, but if I get in a squad that already has rail support or there's no enemy tanks, the blasters are coming out. I occasionally play in Ambush stomp squads if I know the players in them or really need ISK. It's sad that my tank is cheaper than your Commando... 
Haha that's problem #1 with MLT tanks atm.....I can buy 3 tanks for the price of 1 proto commando suit (fully fit) :/

On a side note, a greenberry once stole my tank when I had 0 ammo and the vehicle quota was full. As I ran towards a Supply Depot I found an enemy CRU. As I hacked it, a Caldari assault spawned with a GEK. I slapped him to death as he backed into a corner firing his AR at me and I survived with a sliver of HP. A ADS pilot from my corp was flying above and saw the whole thing. A friendly tank got popped and I called in my tank. The RDV spawned inside of the ship and killed him as he flew by.
