 I remember when 1 team spawned in the middle then the second team broken into two equal spawned on opposite sides. Now it is just one big clusterf*ck two teams deploy right next to each othe and within the first 30 seconds the more dominant team breaks through their lines the next minute they are being spawn camped because of terribad spawn mechanics. Make it like an actual ambush with some sort of cover hell make ambush maps dedicated to the idea of being an actual ambush instead of leeching off of current map designs. If ambush was it's own mode and not a big clusterf*ck in which you either dominate or get dominated people might enjoy it.

 An Ambush needs to be just that... an Ambush
 
 Taylor the spawn zones to the maps in circulation; e.g. Ambush-er should spawn outside the city in groups surrounding it and Ambush-ee should be holed up in the city

 I really dont like how random ambush is, the hell i would drop onto a battle field away from my squad mates and have a red berry spawn 30m in front of me and we have a wild west gun draw to the death.

 Ambush just needs sky spawning.

 Ambush sucks because CCP didn't take into account vehicles or uplinks. The second they are pulled out things go down the river.

 I think ambush maps should have a single large socket in the middle, the defenders spawn inside the complex and the attackers spawn outside. Of course we would also need large complexes that don't have doors cut in the walls.

 It should be 1 team (defenders) spawned in a complex, with the other team (attackers) dropping from the MCC.
 No more Stupid Deploy. Uplinks, CRUs, and MCC spawn only.

 Magus Peak ambush without vehicles was fun, I will admit. Granted there was still SS ARs, Lolasers, Snipers abusing mountain glitch, and the right side was WAY better than the left as far as positioning went.

 I agree defenders spawn in some area not necessarily a complex (though I do remember when that did in general happen) but that is the easiest and perhaps best environment though I feel natural environment if done correctly can work well. The other team comes in from some sort of CRU I feel like the MCC is over kill for ambush but immobile CRU's don't seem logical either maybe a vehicle in which you spawn out of (stationary no defensive capabilities takes no damage). 1 team has some sort of incentive like hold a single point in their complex so that it is not a stale mate of the 2 forces just sitting their shooting at each not accomplishing much. I do also want some sort of surprise background to it, it is after all an ambush so like some special effect explosions and gun fire doing no harm but making it an ambush.

 Let's not forget when the other team immediately brings in 3-4 hardened blaster madrugars and a particle cannon gunnlogi and you end up loosing 70-0 with the top tankers each going 50 and 0 because of the "dumb spawn" putting you in the exact same place where the tanks are repeatedly.

I am a tanker and I agree tanks in ambush should be limited or atleast be forced to go into certain choke points to kill I remember killing Milkman1's tank in ambush then immediately dying to the Nyain San tanker behind me it's currently a game of who can get their tanks out the fastest and in the greatest quantity so that has to be fixed not an entire elimination of tanks but away to stop 9.5/10 ambushes from being tank stomps.

 Wait, what? Ambush is supposed to be modeled on the idea of an actual ambush? Dude. I thought they just called it that, smart deploy now makes way more sense. Its an ambush, fkrz!!! Look Alive or get Dead!!!!!

 Used to be like that in closed beta, sort of worked pretty well actually besides people memorizing the different fixed spawn locations (which has been fixed now).
