First off, I want to say that I would love to see and hear about your game mode ideas, but here is one of mine.
Salvage Pretty simple, and basically capture the flag, but instead you aren't paid in ISK, and only in salvage. After an MCC game, during the 30 second long end game look at stats, players can choose to 'salvage' and its a 6 VS environment game. If enough players salvage, then the game starts.
Along the battlefield are things to salvage, which is shown by an objective marker. They can be picked up, and taken back to the destroyed MCC. Robot salvagers are also coming along and attack the players and the destroyed MCC parts that are required for minimal functions. The players can destroy the drones for modules and pickup objectives for weapons and suits, although players would automatically start off with items in a stockpile. Once the players feel they have enough, they can use the equipment on the destroyed MCC to make a distress signal, which would allow an EVE pilot to pick them up, NPC or human. The players get 75% of everything they pick, with the rest going to the EVE pilot, which in lore, would exchange them for loyalty points. Of course this would require PvE which would take a while to come out, but hopefully its not too far away.
