The whole AV is UP or not UP isn't even relevant here, because we didn't even use AV weapons to destroy them. Moving on now.
I know that no matter what I do, you wouldn't believe a single thing I say. Because of this, I won't even bother trying to convince you otherwise. Believe what you want, but I know it happened. Ask my CEO if you feel so inclined.
But you can still win a small ISK prize for guessing what we used, if your interested 
Respecs need to happen in 1.8.

The issue Atiim, is that so many of your posts contain factual errors, or misrepresentations that your credibility is completely shot.
I don't need to ask your CEO, because it wouldn't matter if someone I don't know backed you up. I am sure I can find a couple of people who could attest to my blackness, even though it isn't true.
You could say that you got killed by a blaster tank at 5m and it would still have to be doubted. Not because what you say is obviously false, but because you have produced so many loaded posts, that if one were to take what you say at face value they would be doing themselves a massive disservice.
If I were to take a guess though, I would say you used the furthest back rail turret on the defenders side of Spine Crescent. The one that very few tankers know about, but can completely cut the map in half.

Redline, no. Tower camping of course. And there is no doubt that you would have been a long range swarmer, taking full advantage of the render problems.
You could have been a LLAV tank spiker, but that takes balls, and if you had balls you never would have specced swarms.

Yeah, so what. I do this in ambush, 4 to 5 tanks at a time.
So you used proximitys no doubt. Maybe threw in a few remotes here and there. Though usually the proximities are enough for noob tankers. Which is no doubt what you were up against, MLT.
Tank spam, yeah I'm pretty sick of it too. Tanking should NOT be this cheap, that is the ONLY reason everyone and their mother run tanks now.
Problem now, AV can't keep up with the sheer VOLUME of tanks called into EVERY game. It's not that the damage sucks, there are just too many tanks to damage properly.

That is the simplest way it can be put.
If you thought swarms were balanced in 1.0-1.6 you are not to be given any credence to your views.

Well the first day 1.7 dropped I did have some results with small missiles and small railguns but it was a pain to try and kill MLT tanks with.
Then I said why am I being FORCED to do AV???
