I understand there are some planned vehicles to come in the future such as the following link demonstrates: CCP Vehicle Concepts. Drop ships are a great way to get troops across the field, but are open to anti-air attacks. I'd like to suggets something the US and Israeli armies use for ground transport, anti-mine, and battlefield dash with interchangeable gun mount... The MaxxPro. It can carry about 10 soldiers. I'm not suggesting the exact look, but the concept of a ground carrier with optimal defense and minimal offensive capabalities with the main purpose as ground transport instead of air. Just as the real world military Hummvee with a mounted gun has the Dust 514 equivalent LAV, it'd be great if the MaxxPro had a Dust 514 equivalent. |

Yeah I wasn't too sure if that's what the 8th vehicle was. By the look of it I thought it may have been close to a Stryker. |

Really good people. Also, sadly Israel doesn't really use them. They are only exported. Israel just can't afford them. Anyway, DUST will eventually have MAVs. Hopefully, if CCP are listening, one of their roles will be ground troop transport. I once suggested using HAV hulls for large scale troop transport too, but that has been ignored so far. Anyway, good idea!
Yeah, I personally would rather be transported by ground with a heavy hull than in a flimsy paper plane. |

The reason was just inactivity in replies. People just don't like responding to good ideas on these forums. Only troll threads (or AR nerf threads) get responses. Anyway, the above link is my idea. Feel free to click through to the previous thread which was also locked for inactivity.
Hmm. I do like that idea. Simply repurposing current vehicles, by switching modules and design and technically speaking, remove the cannon and replace it with a gun or a hatch and less work has to be done. |

Miko Ray wrote:I appreciate what you're saying but this game 'needs' risk to balance reward. The real worlds needs as little risk as possible .. hence MaxxPro. Imagine a 10 man super hardened carrier wheeling all over the map. Then, with the dodgy exit vehicle animation where people suddenly 'pop up' 5m away from where they parked .. 10 men (or ladies) blip in and out of the super wagon slay all .. hack the objective .. and then get back in the super wagon. At which point, the reserves turn up to try and revert the hack - only to be turned in to dog food by the machine gun and then flattened as super wagon steam rollers over them. Good IMHO. He who dares, wins.
Well it doesn't necessarily have to be heavy armored, just medium armored. It's not so different from the Dropship except it's landlocked. Because of the larger amount of soldiers jumping in, it could have a longer delay to hop in as well. |

I would imagine it'd have the medium armor, and moves anywhere between a tank and an LAV. So basically an MAV.
