Yeah except they crash into each other and die quite a bit. Pro tip, use forge guns. Anyway the amount of pilot skill required to fly in a squadron is at least 5-6 months so you can really handle your craf. You also need really good coordination or you'll just crash into each other and even then it still happens. Assault dropship spam is rare, most of the times you see it it involves ace pilots who all know each other. This isn't something that will suddenly become wide spread like milita tanks because it takes quite a bit of time, isk and sp to even get to the level of a decent squadron pilot. |

Keep it up dude, wonder why most of the Dust playerbase has no sympathy for DS pilots? Can't wait til you are no longer able to demonstrate your faggotry in ambush.
I don't wonder about sympathy for pilots, dropships are in the best state they have ever been in. If anything I wish people knew how hard it is to fly as well as me and my fellow ace pilots and not show sympathy, but respect, maybe even admiration. People like you probably have to fly a gallente ship and turn on hardeners just to land but miss your landing and have to lazily float back to the tower or something. I can dive at full speed do a barrel roll bank into a city come under a beam just 2 feet off the ground then land like a pro. With my skilled gunners, there is a kill or two in that sequence. And most pilots i know including those who have posted in this thread can do the same. So I don't want your sympathy, Ive flown and lost hundreads of dropships to all manner of stupid ****, yet this is my profession. I'd much rather have some respect for what I do, it sure isn't easy!
I do understand where you are coming from tho, there should be an ambush without vehicles for those like yourself that only enjoy pure infantry combat. That sounds fine to me. In fact I would probably play ambush on the ground more to with a game type like that! Fing tanks.. |
