this one seems like a really useful bonus.
does anyone think that there's a better racial 'native bonus' than that? do the others even compare? do you guys think that the fitting (mods and cpu/pg) counterbalance the native bonus? |

Well the Caldari basically have the same bonus just to shields... I think the bonus for the Gallente should be slightly higher, roughly 1/3/5, and it should be affected by the armor repair skill or be given with a slight buff to armor repairers... |

the caldari still have to waste a mod to get their armour back though. medium frames and light frames with a native armour repair seem very appealing to me. just getting one module back is huge. |

Well... Considering what it's worth, meh. It would take over 10 minutes to repair an even slightly plated Gallente heavy with that.
It's a very nice touch though.

1hp/s will be incredibly irrelevant on a 656 armor Gallente Sentinel. Or a brick tanked Gallente assault, for that matter.
I propose buffing it to 3hp/s on every Gallente suit, or at the very least, 2hp/s.

I never said it was great for a heavy, but it's a nice little bonus for a heavy that doesn't have logistics in tow. |

Yea but that one module wasted outclasses our passive, in reality a Gallente would still have to use a module to get their armor back also. Unless they want to wait anywhere from 250-500 seconds for their armor to repair. When comparing a Caldari with a Complex repairer and a Gallente with a complex repairer the Gallente only reps armor (assuming 2 HP/s for medium) 25% Faster than a Caldari but because the Armor buffer for the Gallente is much higher it would take the Gallente twice the time to get back in battle and chances are the Caldari would win the fight anyways if he is using a RR and out strafing the Gallente with their higher speed suit, needless to say the Caldari are supposed to get back in Battle faster but by the time they Rep 20 HP we only rep what, 5 HP lol? At best a Gallente suit should have around 10hp/s (including the usage of a repairer) to be optimal for battle. It would still take more than 1 minute to be at top performance but its competitive enough that you won't be a slow, and easy to kill.
they should let rep tools self heal again |

The minmatar assault currently has a 1 hp/s built in and it's pretty awesome. It's a slow as hell regen but it's better than no innate regen if you're no where near a rep tool.

It will be the complete opposite of the Caldari heavy. Able to take more dmg, but output less.
The Assault will be fine with 2 or 3 base. That means with 3 enhanced plates and a complex rep my suit will rep 7.25-8-25 a sec and have 850-950 total ehp at Proto. We need a rep because our buffer is small, but 10/hp a sec would be crazy OP.

but do the inherent bonuses to any of the other suits seem better than that 1 point armour rep? |

I didnt mean 10 HP passive lol, 10 HP total when using an armor repairer in your low. with 3 HP/s Passive an Assault would get 9.25, that's where my 10 comes from.
A Gallente suit at proto would get 716.5 Armor HP and 8.25 Armor repair, 86 seconds to full HP.
A Caldari suit at proto would get 625.5 Shield HP and a shield repair of 25, if the delay remains at 5 thats 30 seconds to full HP.
Damn... I think they should but armor reps in the highs and shield reps in the lows... |

Ah, my mistake.
I can agree on that. I also believe reactive plates should be switched to the high slot.
