CCP wants money from the players, otherwise they can't support this game. (EVE aside)
So you want to actually make players want to spend money.
Oh and Arkena isn't playing for free, he is passively boosted 24/7.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

i just finished buying 90 days worth of passive SP. My treat and CCP's for releasing the good news about weapons and suits.
I really hope all goes well and the extra time they take is going into smoothing out the build
Minmatar Assault.
Hopeful Caldari Scout soon. praying for that respec.

i have only ever had 1 booster on this game, there just for impatient people and it is true it is a free game. So if you cant deal with the bugs go play a more developed fps, everyones always saying ccp does one thing and breaks another. Cut them some slack and leave them to it. |

All I'll add to this is that from my point of view, this upcoming update is the first one that has been truly owned by Remnant, and the direction he seems to be taking the game, both in terms of how patches are created and deployed as well as the content they carry, strikes me as a being a class all of its own when compared to what we've been given beforehand. We might not like everything that CCP has in store for Dust, but I think we can be reasonably certain that the quality of each build is only going to improve from now on.
On a personal note, I am totally pumped for new commandos and scouts.

i seriously doubt ccp rem would have the gall to make a comment about fixing the lr and then not do anything..the love he is receiving just for informing us of they're desire to hotfix it and within the week possibly is a foreshadowing of the fury that would exist should that be a ruse

I'll have to see it to believe it. It's very promising - but CCP are quite good at forgetting about those.
