I've heard several ideas about what to do with the SP system, a rollover I think would definitely be in order because I've had my character since the open beta and I'm about to be facing the same problem as I was then, life.
Classes start up again in a few days, not to mention I'm transferring to a new school so I need to pack up my crap and move, find a new job, may be working with the national guard soon and I have a buddy who has gone through all the same crap, in fact nearly all of my friends have no time for this game because they all have work and school non-stop or were away at boot camp for months at a time. I'm surprised I've gotten as far as I did when the people I basically started the game with can come back to 3.5 million worth of passive SP.
Grinding out the weekly cap will become more of a chore than anything, I don't even know if I will be able to keep up, I could barely play during the holiday season, and the daily SP makes it worse because there are definitely some cases where I just can't log in every day and then I miss out on thousands, I haven't been getting the maximum bonus from that since like mid december.
Rewarding those who want to grind is fine, punishing those who don't is crappy, I don't mind playing for hours at a time WHEN I have the time but I can't be expected to do this on such a constrained schedule and neither can most of my friends. I care enough about the game to donate alot of time and money to it and I know I'm not the only one that has does so and also has a life, please allow us a little more flexibility to actually make our time worth something.
SP rollover, I heard about SP boosters rewarding you a certain amount of SP instead of a time frame to acquire it in, I guess the login bonus can stay because it doesn't change too much, people aren't going to get vastly ahead of everyone else right away but after a while they will so consider eliminating it or replacing it with another benefit besides SP. Whatever the case, I know I need a break, and several others probably want one too.

I don't have a problem with how long it takes to get skills, just the fact that I can actually lose SP just because I'm not playing everyday
