Really does need a splash radius increase.
My anus packs more explosive punch after eating baked beans than the 'missile' tank turrets, the direct damage is nice though.
I have it at proto with my tanker alt, level 4 rapid reload,4 profs and 2 ammo. Its very good don't get me wrong but the splash is just pathetic, how can a grenade have a larger blast radius when it contains less explosive? Well I'd assume it does, and I'm talking aiming at a scout and firing as he jumps higher than the blast, similar type results with just about any suit.
Please do not tell me that this is working as intended, I do understand that vehicles are by no means finished though and its very fun to long range 'snipe' with but rockets are bombardment weapons when applied to vehicles. Well I can tell you that when I try to bombard, it looks cool, that's about it.
Any other 'missile' turret tankers having the same bs problems? Its quality in mid-cqc anti tank hunting though.

I sold my wife and kids to the Amarr for isk, its a valid tactic.

Oh and the recoil is far more than the rail gun and blaster, I'm not saying that they should have a recoil increase, they are fine, but this is completely t1ts up backwards.

Increasing the Missile Splash Damage will only do 1 thing in the current meta... get tanks even more hated by infantry, and get them nerfed.
At the moment, Hitting Infantry with a Railgun is semi-difficult (if they are moving to avoid it) while missiles with a large AoE splash would annihilate ANY infantry within the splash zone.. full auto 12 shot (unless the splash damage was reduced to negligible amounts.
Personally, speaking as a Tanker (and a Missile Favoring Tanker) I would rather see Tank be less effective against infantry than more... why? Because then the infantry would be able to avoid Heavy Armor and live more often much like you see in almost every other game.
Main battle Tanks are designed for 2 purposes. 1) To counter any Enemy Installation and Fortificvation (something we are lacking in DUST atm) and 2) Countering Hostile Enemy Armor. Main Battle Tanks equip Small manned machine guns to counter infantry and even small vehicle threats. So having the Main gun streamlined to doing what it should do, and not being 'king of all' is a better situational outcome than having tanks nerfed back into oblivion again.
