Faction Warfare has been highly disappointing so far...usually one stacked side (Gallente and Minmatar during the day, Amarr and Caldari at night) going up against a motley crew of people, followed by a full-on slaughter and a rather boring match. So imagine my surprise when I dropped into an FW match earlier today and see AE names ringing up the kills...ON BOTH SIDES. Match finished pretty much as you'd expect--a victory by two or three ticks of the MCC and clone counts in the 20s on both sides.
I sincerely hope to see more efforts such as this from the dominant corps to help bring more enjoyment for ALL players of the game, as this would be a great learning experience for all involved. Kudos.

Shame that I was deployed into the battle before I could finish putting together my Federation proto suit...decided to roll hard with my militia frontline (now with more explosives!!!) and paid the price. Oh, well, hopefully I can catch the next battle from the beginning and not the last five minutes.

I was playing on my alt this morning. It only has 2m SP, so I use LP store gear. Mostly Gallente, so when I play for Gallente I actually do it for the gear, not to take the easy-mode win.
So, when I saw AE stacked on the other side, I did the right thing and backed out. Searched another match, and was put right back against AE... it was a rocky morning for my little alt, but its good to see AE fighting for Caldari for nothing mare than the pure challenge...
To bad any progress they make in a sector just gets negated the next day by the blueberries
