Tanks aren't a problem in PC. While the infantry do their things, tanks are constantly engaged in a chess match if you will in an effort to eliminate the other tanks from the field. They push objectives, defend them, and require teamwork to take down-which is how it should be. The only thing that kills high ehp fits are other tanks. The powerhouse tanks like bob runs that have little resist die up close to forges, so you may never see them if they are in your match. Blaster tanks can be nasty, but that's what high ehp rails and missiles are for.
TL;DR bring your own tanks to the fight and you won't have to deal with enemy tanks
So about those vehicle locks...

TL;DR bring your own tanks to the fight and you won't have to deal with enemy tanks u used to see me, but then u started to spam rails. even EHP tanks hide since all PC is whoever has the mt rails to deal with enemy tanks XD. right now i have to hide and come out of nowhere and KAPOW! Yup. Are you coming out of your temporary retirement yet? I wanted to be in the match tonight, but had some stuff to do QQ. Might want to be careful burning out there Bob.

So the main task of a pilot is to neutralize other pilots as much as possible. If you want to use AV specialists they will take time and guns out of your team. With all due respect, you just pointed out the obvious and don't seem have understood or read the thread but thanks. Nope. He's spot on. The result of this are railguns everywhere attempting to lock down areas as efficiently as possible.
