Here you can find more information about the prerequisites for the videos themselves and here is the NEO devblog. I thought it would be nice to do something together from scratch. I want you to create a script/storyboard for what is going to be a 15 second long spot. The spot should be an advertisement for the services Viktor, JL3Eleven, Kane, Min Lo, myself and others provide (trading, mercenary work, district sales, currency exchange, escrow services, etc.). Check this thread for more information on that. The ad should be directed at EVE pilots and should spark interest in DUST, our services and our community. I personally like slow heavy stuff that sends chills down your spine, but feel free to go wild. Voice over? Music? Visuals? I've never written a proper script/storyboard, tonight I'll try to update this post with my idea as an example. In the meantime, here is a small selection of what was shown during the last alliance tournament, mostly for corps/alliances: SniggWaffe Ad (& this) (group) Test Alliance Ad (group) Somer Blink (service) Dark Taboo (group) EVEBloggers (service) FCON (group) SWP (Service) Black Legion (group) CVA (group) PL (group) Exodus. Oh my (group) PIZZA (group) That's what I could dig up with a small search. You have time until downtime on Monday 27th of January to post your ideas for an ad here, the more detailed the better. Also feel free to leave your questions and feedback here and discuss. The end result matters, so feel free to edit your posts throughout. The three submissions I like the most will receive 100million ISK each Later this paragraph will be replaced by my own idea for an ad. I want a script that me and others can use as blueprint to create adverts for the tournament stream. For instance, in the example I provided you could fill in whatever you like, be it Kanes escrow service or Viktors BPO marketplace. I guess the general theme is "Mercenary Businesses". (Flashes to this for a split second) Cuts to a group of mercs trying to bum rush an objective, they all break cover and rush in but get mauled down by enemy fire. Announcer: "....it's unavoidable" Cuts back to the same location where more mercs are trying to take the objective. "Why send an assault to do a comandos job?" (Announcer says as it Flashes on screen) -Cuts to a black screen with some light in the middle as a proto commando raises it's head and looks straight at the screen. (Similar to this, camera starts at position 3 and moves to 2, lighting goes something like this) -*group of commandos starts pouring in from different locations and start to obliterate enemy forces (as an enemy tank blows up in the background) Some awesome action shots of commandos dropping from the sky (like this) More of the commandos kicking some serious booty (an idea) Announcer: "Protect your assets, hire Alpha Response Command today" Shows something like this except with a proto commandos head and the logo appears beside it.
