Had a look at the new stuff thats supposed to come and here are my impressions so far (HP's are based with shields and armor up to lvl5 and proto suits): -Caldari heavy OP cause of the regular 4 sec shield recharge delay and 1 sec when it is depleted. Making it probably the best choice for solo players. Which means most heavys will run that thing cause of the insane explosive resistance stacked with shields. Making that thing allmost unkillable. Oh and shield recharge is sitting at 30HP/s. But meh flux=dead. Base HP is in total 1143.
-Gallente heavy has the same total HP compared with the caldari heavy and inverted slot layouts (4 low 1 high) which means you could stack quite alot of armor plates onto that thing. And you get a 1HP/s passive armor rep for free. This suit comes with 1143HP base HP.
-Minmatarr heavy 3 high slots and 2 lows with the focus on more armor then shields. Doesnt seem to work out for me to armor tank with just 2 modules. However 3 damage mods stacked on it would make it interesting. warning: it is the heavy with the lowest amount of HP (1031).
-amarr heavy 3 low slots and 2 high. Seems like CCP changed the basic frame suit into a sentinel. However its the suit with the highest possible base HP of 1200.
Now lets have a look onto the new guns shall we?
-Magsec SMG Railrifle in pocket size which out performs the AR
-Bolt pistol Fully automatic gun that deals 150HP in a single shot. Clipsize is 6. Why do i have the feeling that this thing will be even more powerfull then the old flaylock?
-Ion pistol looks like a somewhat nerfed scramblerpistol. But at least that thing comes with 12 shots in a clip. (scrambler pistol lvl 5 has 11 rounds and deals more damage)
My predictions: Caldari heavys everywhere, magsec SMG will be the #1 sidearm for the crowds cause it is probs better then a AR.
I shall show you a world, a world which you cant imagine, a world full off butthurt n00bs at the other end of my gun

It's no secret that the Adv Basic Frame is generally the best Heavy Frame option for Fatties who are not space rich. Stacked Complex Damage Mods are just that important.
If that change goes through it will definitely show someone has been paying attention.

What's a heavy going to do with 4 highs? I guess a mix of damage mods & rechargers . . . ?

Caldari heavy wont be OP, explosions hardly matter anymore at all, let alone in PC since PC is a flux fest, while in pubs, being up close means such high DPS i doubt the caldari heavy will live through a AR or RR or CR or god forbid a ScR.
Seriously even with a 1 second depleted recharge rate it won't be able to recharge in close quarters, and with the shields being super UP right now, I have a big feeling minmatar & gallente heavies will be WAAY better, minmatar having 3 highs & 2 lows for triple damage modded HMGs with better HP than Caldari, and Gallente for having the most HP possible+ a damage mod.
Saying a caldari suit will be OPs pretty ballsy. I have no doubt it will be popular though, since caldari is the favorite race and alot of us have been waiting for caldari heavies for a long time now.

Will fluxes fall under splash damage as well? So -5% per level this seems to help with a possible shield heavy. |

I doubt it, even if they do ADV & proto fluxes will still have enough damage to instantly knock out 4 shield extender, shield upgrades 5 heavies shields anyways.

IM not great at theory crafting but will minmatar be the goto heavy AV speed+4 damage mod with FG (stacking penalty is high but would that last mod add enough to the FG to make a difference)

Did the math on that. With two comp damage mod the charge shot does 529.37. What's the head shot modifier on this weapon?

Depends on how you plan to fight.
If you intend to use the FG from somewhere far off, then yes, stacking damage mods would be good, although I would stop at three, to be able to add enough HP to make the suit more durable against snipers.
Amarr suit looks good on paper. Same deal as now, two damage mods and you can use the lows for either speed or plates and a rep.
