I always loved the blueish-grey armor with bright yellow lining, would kill to have this skin again if not simply for vanity purposes. One of my favorite looks to the Amarr heavy.

Nocturnal Soul wrote:Oh why did they every get rid of it :( Guess the yellow lining sort of messes up the whole color scheming with logis being yellow. But honestly, who would see that suit and think it's a logi?
Really, really hoping this skin comes back in some form or fashion.

Full original cast I do agree the green on the Gallente scout also looked nice. Not sure why they had to remove these two skins. Probably has to do something with the coloring and the current color-coding thing. The Caldari and MInmatar suits don't have any additional coloring highlights and those skins are still present today.

Logis=black and yellow Assault=black and white Sentinel=green? Commando=red silver/gold Scout=blue I want my Scout to be green again... Yes, except black isn't a class color, it is used in combination with the class color to signify prototype. And the reason they want this uniform color for roles is because they are too lazy to make a distinct dropsuit model for each class, or simply don't have the time.

This would be cool (IMO): Prototype is Signified by Black + Racial Color, with Eye Lights that glow Racial neon color. Advanced is signified by pure Racial Color, with Racial eye light color. Standard is a white suit with highlights of racial color and all eyelights are white Art team, chop chop! I like this, but how then would you tell the difference between an Assault and a Logi? A Sentinel and a Commando?

I'd rather have everything look like a battle of wonderful colored suits than have it be so bland as it currently is. Well the color-code system does a good part in making the battlefield look colorful. Though a better system would be if CCP had a unique dropsuit model for each class.

Leezir wrote:Why must logistic suits be yellow? If we were to stick with the color coding scheme, I'd be more inclined to make logis green and sentinels yellow (swap). Green is universally accepted as health and/or support, so that makes sense for a logi. Meanwhile, look at the picture in the OP. Heavies look bad ass with yellow, and don't give a **** if it makes them stand out anymore then they already do.

Hey, like a year ago they said they were on it, give them time! They've been on that since before Chromosome. Here we are almost a year later, on the EVE of a new expansion and they have only said "It's on the back burner", they didn't even say SOONGäó. Frustrating. Honestly. I understand the arguments that this is ultimately an FPS so you need to focus on the FPS, but I wouldn't mind a big update sometime that focuses mainly on universe immersion. Stuff like a dropsuit paint bucket, corp/community spaces, personal armory spaces (similar to how EVE players can walk in their hangar, only better), an actual portrait editor, and stuff like that.
Dust's gameplay is really shaping up and the racial parity is almost all there. Really when you look at the game as an FPS, it is beginning to hold up pretty well against industry standards. It's not nearly as bad as some people say. And because of that, an update that focused immersing the player in New Eden on a personal basis would be amazing, and would begin to separate Dust from a lot of other FPS's. A lot of shooters have good gameplay, but not all shooters are part of a bigger universe where your character actually lives and interacts.
