Has it ever occurred to you that:
This is a video game?
Some people want to have fun?
Some people like tanks and want to have fun with tanks in THIS game?
Some people don't care about being a tryhard?
Some people don't care about being a leet console gamer?
Some people aren't kids who live in daddy's basement and need a game to make themselves feel special?
Really, between a job, raising kids and blowing off steam with a beer how does anything in your childish mindset apply to real people?
Once again folks we see why taking this game to console was a bad idea.

I did infantry rifleman in RL. Why would I want to do something in a game that I could already do? Better to enjoy something I didn't get to do in RL.

Skill up into a missile ginnlogi and tell me it's easy mode. I don't usually worry about infantry. I'm after tanks and every tank fit outclasses a gunnlogi with missiles in some way. It's a very thin, specific set of circumstances that allow a missile gunny the upper hand. Even a missile maddy comes out three times as good.
Anyway, a player that plays tanks isn't always a power player tryhard. Some ppl actially want to enjoy the tank thing.
