Ive heard gungame being described in various situations. Ive heard it especially from trash talkers on this forum. so, what is it? long range killing? up close pvp? for example everytime i see players getting the most kills from a good corp. theyre usually up on a high post getting the most kills. is that gungame? or is up close strafing kills gun game? plz...enlighten. |

haha agreed. ive seen very few ppl who actually strafe really good and are hard to kill. the crazy thing about it is they have hardly any hp. |

Apparently in Dust it's grabbing a heavy suit and slapping a rail rifle on it. I personally use a scrambler.

Gun game does not exist in Dust and it never has.
It will not either, until the game runs at a consistent frame rate above 30 fps and the netcode has improved character movement so its less jinky and janky, making transitions between directions more fluid and reactable.
Anyone who claims they have it is simply running at a faster moving suit and mathematically avoiding gunfire at a higher rate as a result. |

skill is pretty much gone from this game. all people do is stack 3 or 4 complex damage mods and as much armor as they can. use either a rail rifle or combat rifle and with aim assist. no one is better than anyone really. its all about who is using the FOTM.

By this definition Rampage's merc quarters needs to be nerfed, cause while he's in it...he pwns all who enter.
and from what i hear, he'd rather be there than in matches.

Bring back Chromosome - No AA, granted things were broken but I think everything was equally broken. Don't get me wrong CCP I love some of the new maps you have released over the past 6-9 months but the best ones are too much for the PS3 to handle and end up as slide shows with constant sub 20 fps.
Does anyone else think that the game felt more fluid back in Chrome? Also I will keep bitching about aim assist until it is either removed or they at least remove the bugs from KB/M play (No I am not asking for 1:1 mouse movement even though I would love that) just the ACTUAL bugs like the aim randomly turning when I dont even press anything. The inability to select places to spawn especially when they are diagonal locations and many more issues. |
