Whats happening to the CORPS in Dust514? + Personal info

PLUS i see a LOT of vets and old school players here in the forums being members of NPC corps. My corp Scions Of Athra didnt make the cut thanks to some lack of faith an dbroken wills and many other corps are being dissolved. So whats happening? Is it mere Loss of player base? corrupt leaders? Bigger corps absorbing smaller ones? On the same note,i posted something on the Corp recruitment page due to me now being corpless AND im looking to abandon the Lone Wolf role, but im too lazy to start reading hundreds of posts PLUS im not really sure which corps are still active and which arent. I've really been on the fence about joining a real corp (real=PC) lately, but I just want to play the game. I don't feel the need to take this ** personally and get butthurt about what corp is exploiting what or who. But, I do feel some need to put my name on better players' death screens. I'm looking into a couple now, trying to get a feel for their players that are on when I'm on and how we could benefit each other, while meeting some other really good players in the process. Theres none of that freaky popularity bull sht here, you'd be welcomed straight away and we are getting into pc again seen as there was a lag fix. Be advised we don't really give two fks about holding a district, we'll play to win but it'd be no different to losing a pub match for us, Boohoo. I'm the only director as well so theres no worry of awoxxing, to put that into perspective, I was ready to quit dust but swamp saved dust for me. Any kind of l33t, ignorant or racist attitude is insta boot but witty banter is a must, we value loyalty over skills any day, we firmly believe that anyone can be l33t, it just depends on how many fks you give at any given time We do have 4 youngers but they are very mature for their age, they'd be gone if they were typical. Just putting this out there that there is salvation for those who are burnt out or cant deal with the general sht that goes on anymore. Oh and the corp tax is 7%, we may up it just to hurry up the isk for pc process, we want to make sure we definitely have enough for some fun, we may get a PFC district, haven't decided yet as we'd be expected to eventually care about what is essentially a battle over bragging rights, mehehehehe. We are mostly USA members, I and 3 others are from the uk, we have a new Zealander and 2 Irish guys, lots of fun, endlessly interesting conversations. And we smoke copious amounts of weed, when noones on comms its because we are all high. Iv drunk so much energy drink, I think I'll leave that right there lol, I'm sure the caffeine will wear off soon and I'll be thinking "wtf" Actually I'm starting to think that now............wtf. I went through 5 or 6 myself (don't recall exactly how many) till I found one where I get on with everyone OK, Tech Guard. We're more active at about 21-23.00 server time. We're mostly 20-50 years old and mature. I think 30 must be the average. Several of us are married and have kids, etc. You could probably even give us a shot, why not?

The CEO doesn't know anything about corps, so he doesn't really do anything. Plus, the tax is like 3% so it doesn't really bother me much.

I am not exactly frugal with some of my suits so I tend to break even, if I lose isk to a corp I start running at a loss.
