Kador sits and listens in an almost enraptured silence as he listens to the words spoken by Palantius Metsar. The words reverberate around the golden chamber and meet his ears. They evoke in him a deep reservoir of emotion and the profound sense of duty that compelled him.
He shifts in a lacquered
The word of St Junip had always held a strong spiritual meaning for him, an almost tangible connection to the words of God which gave his life purpose.
He listens patiently as Aero speaks his interpretations of the passage mulling over his own thoughts in the mean time. When the Templar finished speaking Kador motions to the Palatinus that he wishes to speak.
"If I may Palatinus I would like to add my own thoughts to those of Templar Yassavi." He offers tentatively.
He takes a deep breath to organise his thoughts, and begins to speak.
" In my mind it speaks of our humanity. While we are possessed of a divine inspiration, of divine purpose and of a spiritual calling few others can come to truly understand I feel this passage most of all speak of our quintessential humanity. Much of what we are is shaped by that destiny, the sacred charge given to us by God, and many forget what we strive to protect and uphold. The dignity and unity of Mankind and all Creation beneath the heavens. Thus I feel this passage conveys that which we should not forget in ourselves and lose. That human dignity that Zakara showed in his sacrifice."
Kador pauses a moment to catch his breath.
" The passage speaks of courage. It requires a man to have great courage to face his foe, and more so to have courage to face a foe unarmed. In this sense the courage of Zakara, a mortal man, stands as a testament to the will and dignity of man, of the Amarr, and of the significance of action for a noble cause, the protection of a brother.
I feel what Templar Yassavi said is correct. We are all God's children and through him we are connected to one another.
But it also speaks of the bonds of fellowship we share. Strong as they are, that cannot be broken even in death as Zakara illustrates in his dying words.
We are brothers, and in God we shall remain brothers for all time.
I would liken this to the nature and foundation of our Faith. Its is something that reflects its very nature. As long as one, in this case Garum, holds true to the this fellowship, and as long as we hold true to its teachings, never forgetting the sacrifice of Zakara, the bond, and our Faith shall forever endure."
With that he ends the address,His voice is thick, barely able to conceal the weight of the emotion it carries. He nods respectfully to Palatinus Metsar, and Templar Yassavi, and resumes his respectful position in his chair.
"My Faith in you is absolute; my sword is Yours, My God, and Your will guides me now and for all eternity."

Maikyl Metsar wrote:"Those are both excellent observations. Indeed under the Almighty we are all united in purpose as a family. And sacrifice is sometimes necessary to protect those we cherish. In this spirit of selfless sacrifice do we display the true nature of our humanity. I have always found it interesting in this verse that Garum is armed with a sword while Zakara is unarmed. We know so little about these two brothers that I sometimes ponder on the meaning of this. Was Zakara markedly younger than Garum? Or had he lost his weapon early in the conflict? Perhaps he was not even a warrior by trade. "
"Indeed. So then as you say it is perhaps a celebration of the sacrifice shown here by Zakara, that he would sacrifice God's ultimate gift that his brother might live.... could this not then apply to us immortals as well?"
He considers this statement carefully. Kador had always felt rather conflicted about being, for the most part, immortal.
"If Zakara would give the ultimate sacrifice of his life, and everything that he is, as a mortal, is it not fitting that we apply that same tenets to our own existence? That without sacrifice, something we should celebrate rather than mourn, no true victory will be attained. "

It is a sacrifice far greater than that of Zakara, but one that no one in the days of St. Junip could of possibly foretold."
"I don't just mean out lives though.....I mean our Souls.....Did we damn ourselves? Alter God's design? If so our sacrifice is not just one of the flesh but one of the spirit..... that sacrifice would be enough to buy us victory as long as we held to our Faith, or so I want to believe."
