I'm sure this is burried in some other thread somewhere but I can't be arsed to look so.....
Please, please, please CCP do not take the lazy route and just assign the logi racial bonus to that races equipment but rather look at the stats you have given that logi racial and give them an equipment bonus that makes sense for the role that logi actually fits.
To that end the MInmatar logi equipment bonus and the Amarr logi bonus should totally be flipped in my opinion. The Amarr logi with it's dual tank and sidearm is one of the best logi suits for being in the trenches with the Sentinels, Commandos, and Assaults providing reps. The minmatar logi having less tank but more speed is better suited for running around the battlefield dropping uplinks (nanohives too, but I guess they aren't going to get both)
Honestly since any decent logi carries multiple types of equipment the racial equipment bonuses are dumb to begin with but if CCP is set on doing it then at least put some thought into it rather than just being lazy about it.

Except the Minmatar have the lowest stamina, so while their speed is very high, its only for short distances. This is good for ducking in and out of cover, moving around short distances to provide reps to multiple units in an area. The range bonus also helps to keep the low EHP Minmatar Logi out of harms way.
The Amarr have the highest stamina, making them the long distance runners. They are probably the most combat-ready logi meaning they're good at moving around solo to drop uplinks and defend themselves due to their high base HP. This make them exceptionally good at breaching an area and dropping uplinks alone as to avoid attention but having enough combat ability to stand their ground if they are discovered.
I think the bonuses work nicely the way they're proposed.

Agreed. I also don't think the bonuses are lazy. It's interesting how race is becoming more and more important and I'd like it to continue this way. Loyalty store, FW, new bonuses based on racial equipment... It's all very ok to me. |

I see your point, but I don't even carry uplinks on my Amarr logi, no room for them while I'm carrying nanohives, repair tools, and injectors so that I can keep my Sentinel brothers alive, resupplied, and killing. I don't play Minmatar logi but I think their equipment of choice should probably be remote explosives and being guerrilla warfaring mother f***kers. |

Except the Logistics is not designed for guerrilla warfare, but I understand what you're getting at.
Regardless the Repair Tool needed to be one of the bonus equipment, and it made sense for Minmatar since that is kinda what they do.
As for you...no one is forcing you to use the Amarr Logistics. Highly likely you'll be getting a respec and can spec into Minmatar or Caldari if you like the Repair Tool and Nanohives. Though if you ask me, the Amarr Logi is probably the best, especially for PC where spawn time is critical.
