During the process of scripting, recording, and mastering this demonstration video for the Dust Challenge Lottery, I got to thinking about a deal I could present to my fellow Mercs. I am offering to read a prepared script or piece of fan fiction that is 350 words or less if you purchase the limit of 90 tickets or 15 million ISK for the Dust Challenge Lottery. This offer is retroactive to individuals who have already placed down 15 million for tickets. You would be doing me a secondary service to refining my skills with speech craft and audio mastering with these projects.
Works I have performed and arranged (readily available online).

I do deem the right to reject work that is too offensive. As much as it would be humorous to read a verse from Ass and Tittiez in the voice of Christopher Walken I will not. Let's keep it related to New Eden the best that is possible.

DUST Fiend wrote:So....pay you 15 million ISK.....to read a few words?......... This is all in the context on the Dust Challenge Lottery. If you have already bought the tickets, it's an added bonus. I pegged the amount at 350 because I still need time to oversee the lottery, my actual job, school and everything else. Remember, I don't have to do this to begin with but it's something I want to offer the community. Plus, it's any consolation, I'm waiting to hear back from ChribbaX on the forums and his twitter about being the official escrow agent for the lottery.

Daddrobit wrote:LOL I do something similar. Every couple nights I'll make a "Will use epic voice for donations" open squad and people will come in and I'll say what they want, (barring anything blatantly racist) for isk donations. The donations are totally optional and vary from person to person; some people will donate 1 isk after reading their lines for 15+ minutes, while I had another who donated 5 mil to read a single line. Usually it devolves into a late night talk show-esque squad, but it's always a good time. It's funny to be recognized by someone on the forums for it though. That's awesome!!! Keeping my eye out for this squad now.

Bayeth Mal wrote:Fair enough. It would be interesting to run a squad where everyone has to do voices the whole time though, like one guy has to do a Christopher Walken impression, the other has to do pseudo Spanish, another can only speak in Shakespearean prose... etc. We did have this guy in our corp and squad once trying to troll us. It would be awesome if he showed up more in Dust.

Denak, if I was to expand my word count to fit your entries (same fee), is there anything you would like done in particular?

Disturbingly Bored wrote:If I can cook up a truly, embarrassingly ridiculous 350 word story, I will take you up on this. It'd be 15 mil well spent. Nice! I'm a little unsure to my turn around time now. While I did bring some basic recording equipment with me to Korea, I don't have any of my mastering software on hand at the moment. Of course, intellectual property rights for foreign products aren't highly regarded here.
