Unchecked dishonesty can promote the perception that one must cheat to remain competitive.

They're not maneuverable, always get caught on things, slow, primed by almost everybody, and I must always be in a rail tank because blasters and missiles are worthless against the rail tank that is almost guaranteed to be called out against me. Plus they're expensive. I know that goes against the current hive mind of the forums, but I use actually good tanks (ADV turrets and complex mods) and they still cost around 250k each. My dropship survives rails better than my tanks do because of it's maneuverability. With a tank, I just have to sit and take it or attempt to run away. Considering one gets blown up in about 3sec from a railgun, that can end up being a lot of cash. (Missiles are super fun though. They're tank's hard mode.) Some people like a challenge, others seek to make things as efficient as possible (fotm) neithers bad really. The cooking of core locus while strafing though, I believe that's as low as it gets, its literally counting to 2 or 3 lol. Level 2 forum warrior. Minmatar and Gallente fw. I sold my wife and kids to the Amarr for isk, its a valid tactic.

Here is an example where people were crying that the rail rifles and combat rifles are dramatically powerful. I am level 5 in CR along with level 2 CRP and a level 4 in RR. Here is my take on the weapons. Combat Rifle: + Highest RoF for a light weapon + A true beast in close-quarters to average in medium ranged combat + Fun to use + Can take down an unsuspecting or a one-on-one heavy down fast only if all bullets connect - Can eat through an entire magazine fast - Not the ideal weapon of choice when it comes to long-ranged battle - The enormous amount of kick can decide life or death to the user if shot in rapid burst for the normal variant or under continuous fire for the assault variant - Takes a less sufficient time to reload I will say the Rof @ 1200 rpm for each combat rifle at increasing damage makes this gun what it is. I will say it is powerful as all get out. Stack damage mods and you will see the time to kill with this gun decrease quickly and those long range battles are not as difficult now. To fix this either lower the RoF (all variants) or for the regular variant increase the time delay to fire. Rail Rifle + Best Long-range weapon if not using a sniper + Damage equivalent to a Breach AR and shoots slightly faster than a Breach in my opinion + The assault variant can shred ANYONE down or in the line of fire + Great at the standard level - The amount of kick from STD>ADV>PRO is flip-flopped. The Pro feels like the gun is going everywhere but the STD seems perfectly stable. - Small magazine size for both the regular and assault variants. - The 1/4 second charge-up time does affect the tide of a gun fight. You either must continue firing or take another 1/4 to charge-up firing again. Also hip-firing the gun, the dispersion is like a "jumping jack rabbit". - Reloading takes forever due to the additional time added to charge-up firing the gun I will say the Assault variant is truly powerful along with the regular version equivalating to the same power level. Staking damage mods on this means nothing should survive your bullet barrage unless they are lucky to escape. But for some reason that quarter second seems small for the amount of power this gun is putting out. Either decrease the damage slightly, increase the charge-up time, or make it less effective in close-quarters. Open Beta (12/13/2012) to a 1-year Vet. And so? whats your point? that you want them to do as you say? if you dont like how they play then leave. otherwise stop complaining and take them down.

I'd seen it done with the AR before but never thought it was used very well. I just wanted to see if I could make a Heavy suit into a wider functioning role with a bit more flexibility, I've spent >6 months forced into either CQC with a logi at my side, or on a roof with a forge, kinda wanted to see how the other half lived. Plus sometimes you just wanna run a simple build, not be pigeon holed into only one area of the battle. I was sick of seeing "duvolle" showing up in the kill feed so refused to skill into AR. Even skilled into the scrambler rifle and tried it out with the AScR, worked pretty well I liked it, somewhat limiting though due to slower speed, had to try and predict battles and move on them to be waiting in the flank, couldn't chase kills. The assault variant was unnecessarily expensive though, both in ISK and fitting. Decided to wait for the new weapons before trying a different one. The moment 1.7 dropped I used all my vehicle SP refunded to get RR at Prof 3, ran around with a SMG side arm for CQC. Quite enjoyed it... And then a few weeks go by an apparently I'm a FotM chaser... huh...

Gallogi is definitely the FotM. Galassault? Have you ever used it? I know you use the Amarr assault, so let me compare it to that. The Galassault can get perhaps 100 HP more than an Amarr assault in armour, while not having any decent bonuses and being much, Mich tighter on fitting. Fitting full complex on Amarr assault is easy.
