auto assembler
we currently have nano hives which are able to construct complex chemicals and working parts for ammo and weapons. they are also able to repair armor.
with the current tank model of spam as much vehicles as possible and attempt to recall(you might get lucky) anywhere you want i feel a new way of bringing in and returning tanks is needed to give more risk.
the flat pack tank (technology by ikea)
all tanks or any vehicle for that matter are deconstructed by nanites in the ikea factory onboard the warbarge. once the fit is made it is stored inside an auto assembler device
once deployed it unfolds and the nanites inside begin to construct the vehicle drawing in any heavy materials required from the surrounding area. when you decide to recall it you simply release the nanites again to deconstruct it but it returns to you with a depleted power cell. this can be charged up from resupplies or nano hives. the vehicle is stored in its current state so redeploying it if it had any damage would return it at that state. if you are killed with it packed then you lose it like you would any equipment.
pros-
can spawn it in anywhere you need it, enemy can't see deployment, can recall it anywhere you deem safe.
conns-
you die in your suit then you lose the vehicle (unless your killed outside your vehicle when its deployed) you recall it damaged then it returns damage (ammo included)

Basically you want vehicle users to walk around with 300,000 ISK + whatever infantry gear they have. People come up with too many biased ideas to fix problems.

we carry 200k isk on our suit's so why shouldn't you. besides the risk is only when your not in your vehicle.
currently:
you die calling in your vehicle and you lose it you die in your vehicle and you lose it your vehicle gets blown up while you are not in it and you lose it
this idea:
you die calling in your vehicle you lose it you die in your vehicle you lose it your vehicle gets blown up while you are not in it and you lose it
the difference:
you only have what you carry just like anyone else...no more infinate spamming if you take damage you can't just simply recall and spawn in a new one full repaired and full ammo.
if anything dedicated tank drivers would benefit from this while the spammers would not

So instead of just making changes to the recall mechanic, CCP should invent new equipment, somehow balance it, give it a skill to unlock it, and then create a new mechanic to allow you to customize and pack your fitting into that equipment.
Also, this prevents drivers from selecting what type of tank they need as the situation demands it, because it would have to be prepacked into the equipment slot.
So if I am carrying my rail tank and I need a blaster I am screwed, or am I supposed to spec into proto logi so I can carry three tanks and a rep tool? Doesn't that make every suit potentially a 1.5 million ISK loss? How is that reasonable?
No, your idea is bad, needless and only serves to make things complex where they don't need to be.

we could be waiting years before ccp does something about the recall mechanic. who knows they may even remove recall completely. im just making a suggestion to cut down spam and increase risk for those who abuse the recall mechanic in its current state.
sure yes you would have to carry more if you wanted variety and that would cost isk. but isnt dust/eve meant to be about risk versus reward. currently tanking is just reward and that goes for mlt spamming also. good tankers don't die or at least not often that the 1.5mil loss would be bad. its a choice. i could carry full proto everything on a logi suit costing 200k+ a fit. does carrying that gear make me effective, probably, does the variety of the fit make me effective probably but this has a lot of risk to it but its a choice to make. for tanks its not as simple as that because you can recall at will and call in new wherever and whenever you want as many times as you want
if with the idea above or similar you have 1.5mil inside your tank then you are a lot less likely to take risk but the variety you carry gives you options to adjust your game so your risk is less likely to get you killed. meanwhile tank spam is down, tankers are actively avoiding excessive av instead of tanking it forever because if they do lose the vehicle they cant just simply jump out and call in a new one.
also i didn't mention skills because they are not needed. this would be simply in fittings. you fit your tank and package the fit. this then ends up in your suit fittings to be placed on your suit. so as not to mess with anything else other than taking up a equipment slot it would be 100% self contained so no cpu/pg requirement.
my idea may not be the best idea but look at it this way.
lets say they introduce rdv pickups, what happens to dropships when the vehicle spam fills the sky constantly with rdv's or they bring in fighters which shoot down every rdv that even attempts to land. or they create AA vehicles. how do you plan on getting your tanks, dropships, lavs, mtac's, fighters onto the ground. the only real solution is to build them on the ground or drop pod them in. but even then you have drop pod spam raining from the sky killing dropships friend or foe constantly. this leaves the only real option for the future as building them on the ground. sure my basic idea may be flawed but it avoids most of these issues

Your solution does nothing to cut down on the number of tanks deployed.
All it does is add a needless ISK sink for the people who don't play in the manner which you describe, which is most of them.
I don't see the constant hot swapping that some people describe, probably because if someone thinks that recalling is going to work, that flaming Bolas crashing down on them will remind them of the truth.

am i the only1 able to destroy all of the enemy tanks to where they wont get out any more tanks early on within the match?
majority of the time when u manage to kill the few std tanks on the field all the spam just stops suddenly.
