Yep. The best is scanning right before a orbital. Screen spams +15. You also get more points on certain actions for members of your own team. I.E. reviving a teammates nets you +72 instead of 60. I think spawning your own greendots also gives you a bonus.
Also, if you're SL, you should put the donut on someone. It's practically free points.
Unless of course the donut is on me. I die fairly quickly :( And if you're on mic, be sure to tell the SL you're down so he can pass the donut.

Squad Leader's command to 'defend' a target. When they do it, a circle appears around the person. Usually, the SL will put it on whomever if they are too busy because the controls are clumsy and it takes effort. Great teams will assign it to the clincher. IE if capturing an objective, it goes on the heavy. If defending, it goes on the Repper, etc.
But when you die, the donut just disappears. Having a mic and telling the SL you're down is a good way to keep them proactive.

You also get +60 points for headshot kills, and +80 points if you counterhack a nullcannon that is being hacked. And no, you don't get points for hacking enemy vehicles. ah thank you i forgot about those.. im just trying to figure out a logi build which will be of use to the team and net me some big points but doubt i can till i got me a proto logi suit with the 4 kit slots.
Honestly, as a Min Proto Logi, you won't be bringing out that bad boy very often. Mine cost a whopping 200k. Meaning if I lose even one of those suits, I'm going to have to trend VERY carefully for the rest of the match to even profit. I never take out my 4 EQ proto unless its a PC or I'm in the most excellent team ever.
Like the majority of the Logi's I spoke with, you're going to be suit hoping. The general rule is you never have an injector if you don't have a rep tool. No one likes getting picked up to have to either hide forever or get gunned down very shortly after. But, you can have a rep tool without an injector. However, not matter what you're wearing, you're going to get yelled at for not carrying ALL THE THINGS, so just don't worry about the haters. So with 3 EQ slots, you'll have to pick your suit to your situation. So:
- Drop uplinks <- this is actually on my scout suit. It's really cheap and has pretty much nothing on it but DUs but its really really fast. Helps me start the mission with this guy immediately, run in, drop the two way ahead of infantry and then change/or usually die, but its cheap so I don't care
- ADV logi with scanner, injector, repper <-- this is my 80% of the time suit
- ADV logi with ammo, injector, repper
- ADV logi with scanner, repper, ammo
I also have some suits with REs, others with no scanner and DUs. So, you're going to have to play, but I wouldn't make the mistake of going all the way proto suit so soon. You won't be running it as often as you think.
EDIT: I also want to clarify. I'm not a great player, but any stretch of the imagination, but I'm rolling in isk and having the time of my life. There is a great thread for getting into Support Logi.
