I am pretty much 99% sure that is how it will work. If not, if you are able to sell the Dragonfly Scouts, I imagine they are going to have a fairly nifty price on them. Be well. -Joseph

Well, your Dragonfly and any other BPO's stats will be changed to match their equivalent...so say bye bye to your Dragonfly's sidearm too. CCP is going to maintain that they're not going to remove BPO's for now...but they really want them gone. I don't expect you'll see them gone anytime soon, but either they'll eventually be removed or reworked so they no longer operate like they do now. 1.8 Analysis - Sentinel Damage Efficiency Calcs

CCP has made no comment so it's entirely up in the air.

After all, there are not suppose to be anymore BPOs entering the market other than the "Templar" BPOs that are being sold for ISK as code and the Recruiter BPOs which are really hard to get. As far as we know, not everyone has a BPO or at least doesn't have the amount of ISK needed to get a "Templar" BPO code. Once the population of the game grows steadily again, the impact that these BPOs make will become minimal at best. There is also the fact that some of these BPOs were bought directly with cash (no AUR) either because they were part of a "merc pack" like the "Toxins" or part of a collectable set like the "Templars".
