Dust can't keep throwing away potential customers and burning up the fanbase of people potentially interested in the game.
Do you have any concrete numbers to back your bet?

I agree, right now tanks and av are way off balance and infuriating. I also understand your theory that it costs players, that is a logical conclusion, however when making accusations in a public forum it can be counterproductive.
An example of why I assert this: a real economist was once brought in to study the EVE economy, and why certain systems like Jita became market hubs.
In his report he mentioned a term something like "the hundredth point perception" , and explained when people hear the place or term, mentioned enough times, a landslide phenomenon happens where the term "jita" becomes the de facto "market" and that is how markets are born. In other words, ideas become facts when repeated enough times.
I'm saying that your frustration and lack of back up numbers could actually be creating the situation you don't want to see happen.

Dust can't keep throwing away potential customers and burning up the fanbase of people potentially interested in the game. Do you have any concrete numbers to back your bet? Yep!!! THEN A few months ago it was 70 million PS3 sold and we barely manage 4000k peak numbers. NOW!! We have MORE than 70 million PS3 sold and yet we barely manage 4000k peak numbers. This right there tells you the Dust 514 playerbase is imploding.
I don;t see PS4 mentioned anywhere in there, and the effect of players moving to that as of yet unsupported platform, if anything taking into consideration platform migration the numbers would appear stable.

This right there tells you the Dust 514 playerbase is imploding. Comnsider the comnstant QQ and fail threads effect on the popularity of the game itself, I'd also like to see how badly the playerbase itself hurts its own game by shooting its mouth off nonstop. I don't see PS4 mentioned anywhere in there, and the effect of players moving to that as of yet unsupported platform, if anything taking into consideration platform migration the numbers would appear stable. 4000 then is 4000 now. Your use of the word "Imploding" I would assume is unfounded legal slander, and If I were in charge of the company I would prosecute you legally. IF Dust went to PS4 and the numbers did not grow from 4,000 at that point , then your assertion would stand up to scrutiny. There is still missing data, we would need numbers for both PS3 and PS4. Growth and loss rates to find the answer. I would also like to be able to compare it to rates of loss due to constant player theory crafting and emo charged QQ in open forums, and its effect on the game itself. It's self defeating like an Opus Dei flaggelant. Its simple MORE PS3 consoles sold equals MORE potential users of any given game. Its very simple where 1 or higher equals growth LESS than 1 equals DECAY. Where PS3 70m for 4k equals 1 Growth is if 70m equal 4k =1 then 80m needs to equal 1 PLUS an INCREASED number DECAY is if 70m equal 4k=1 then 80m consoles sold needs to equal the same 4k number. A STATIC 4k means no growth even in the face of an increased potential userbase. In fact an 80m PS3 consolebase means that Dust needs to be at 4500 to 5000 to be considered a static number in view of more consoles sold. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-11-06-playstation-3-sales-hit-80-million
It's not "simple", how many more PS3's were sold, and how many were taken down and replaced by PS4's? You yourself said you are moving to a PS4 soon earlier in this thread. You are not stating numbers, only blind speculation.
The only real numbers you have stated thus far are static numbers of 4,000 which means you prove your own theory baseless and unfounded, it is not "imploding" as you call it, it is stable despite platform migration, which could actually mean growth i among installed base if we knew the real numbers.
You fail to mention the could, and i ask this: why?
Are you trying to influence a failure of Dust? You are not entertaining both sides of an equation you do not know the real numbers to.
You said "DECAY is if 70m equal 4k=1 then 80m consoles sold needs to equal the same 4k number."
What is the number value of the "if" in your statement please?

If a few months later I now have 15 rental units and the gross is still at 4000 dollars then somebody is about to be fired.
In short if I have more rental units then there better be a higher number than 4000 dollars in that account.
Or if you want to talk about platform migration as an EXCUSE then k!!
80m PS3 sold minus 4m PS4 sold equals 76m PS3?
Then why are dust numbers still at 4k??
Lol!
Dust 514 playerbase is dropping.
If you weren't speculatively pulling numbers out of your anus you would appear less idiotic.
Platform migration is not an "excuse" it simply is a fact, a fact that has a number value we do not know, as you yourself said you are moving on to PS4.
Maybe the numbers are static because perhaps players log into Dust forums and see nonstop threads tearing the game apart mercilessly and endlessly stacked one atop the other like carbon copies of one another and run for the hills.
Maybe the numbers are static because players like you are making it happen by speculating theory then stating it as fact.

Dust can't keep throwing away potential customers and burning up the fanbase of people potentially interested in the game. Do you have any concrete numbers to back your bet? ur kidding i hope. http://eve-offline.net/?server=dustmax numbers ever were 9,255 which was the weekend of release...for a f2p game. thats pitiful! specially 4 one with 5M accounts. even worse game averages about 3,500 peak nowadays...which is a 3rd of the pitiful number. me thinks u no good @ math.
Are you blind? Look at your own link and the graph for the past year, 90% of that graph hovers at 4K, Methinks you are no good at looking at a basic graph.
I call that static.
The lowest point on the entire graph is December, that is true , as I have said before, for all online games, and likely will be true next year from December to January as well.
You can't use a release spike of 9K as a reason to say customers are leaving. That is simply people who tried it and didn't like it. Period. You didn't lose them because you never had them in the first place.
Also, people tried it at release and decided to come back later when it is more finished, I am one of them.
